I got this phone two days ago its wite with blue cover,i didnt get any extra cover just plectum charger and headphones! It is great phone screen is good and music quality with headphones is amazing!!

i bought this phone in price 200$ include USB cable. 4GB MEMORY card. but no extra any battery cover.
I LOVE THIS PHONE VERY MUCH.
pls anyone tell me where can I get game AND app. for this phone?

kiran, 22 Jan 2010i switch off d 5230 mobile and it doesnt get switched on ..... morei have a 5230 and m not facing ny of the above probs.....except 4 the hanging part....every nokia hangs a little....just keep ur files organised....tat should keep it fast....4 other problems i think u should go 2 a nokia gallery..

karthik, 21 Jan 2010i have both lg cookie and nokia 5230 boyh are not that good... morecorby is not at all gud compared 2 nokia 5230......it has a very small screen....

i switch off d 5230 mobile and it doesnt get switched on ..........y so?how to switch on d mobile ......?should i remove the memory card b4 starting the mobile?hanging problems.please tell me how to overcome dis problem.

Nokia Makes Ovi Maps Free on Its Smartphones
Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has just announced that it plans on delivering a new version of Ovi Maps for its smartphones, one that will provide high-end walk and drive navigation at no cost. According to the company, the new move is expected to “nearly double the size of the current mobile navigation market.” At the same time, it also notes that the new version of Ovi Maps includes high-end car and pedestrian navigation features, with voice guidance in 46 languages, for 74 countries, and detailed maps for over 180 countries.
The Ovi Maps are already available for download for ten Nokia smartphones, including popular devices like the Nokia N97mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia E72, (Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, Nokia E52, Nokia E55, Nokia 5230, Nokia 6710 Navigator, Nokia 6730 classic and Nokia X6 also support Ovi Maps)
For users in India, the world’s fastest growing mobile market, the service is available in 84 of the country’s key cities including the four metros. Put simply, in these places, customers can use their Nokia handset to navigate as they drive or even walk.

1. The sales package of 5230 i... moreThanks for u're reply Farhan. The temporary issue is that I am not in India & I had asked one of my friends to have a look at the phone and check it out in one of the shops present around his locale. He had checked said that there wasn't a stylus or a plectrum along the pack. Anyway I wud not say that u're wrong but I don't know which one is right now. I have been getting different inputs from sources in India and it's getting harder for me to decide which handset I shud be getting.
As for now I have been getting different inputs from "The Mobile Store" and "Nokia Priority Dealer". One person says I don't get certain things and the other says I do. I'm pretty much confused & wud appreciate u're suggestions about this.

1) Whil... moreWhy do you want a scroll bar? If the page that you have opened is larger than the screen than you can scroll with a finger flick downward/upward or left/right. Scroll bar will take unnecessary screen space hence they are hidden/never shown.
On Fit-to-page various browsers like opera mini/mobile will do that you can download both of them. Opera mini (latest ver. 5 beta) is based on JAVA MIDP 2.1 and Opera Mobile (latest ver. 10 beta 2) is based on Symbian OS.
Also there's an beta ver. available for Skyfire browser ( here : http://get.skyfire.com )
