hi,how does the 3g and wifi function in mobiles? will u pls give basic ideas about these two features and how important are they? i heard that there is no secondary camera in 5230 then how it works for video calling. pls guide. tell me about kinetic scrolling also and does only this phone has this feature or star, corbys or 5800 also hav.

Hi every1 nowadays i used LG cookie, and now I'm going to Chang a New phone in these few days. But i can't decided between Nokia 5800XM, 5230 or waiting 4 5235. And i want 2 know about the 5800 sound when connect to headphones. Is it good? and does 5230 support motion sensor game? If who know about that. Pls tell me. Thxs 4 ur help. :-)

3G is just not about Video calling for ur Information. its about high speed Internet features.
Also it has accelarometer feature and drop down menu for music on the front panel.

In my country, this phone comes with a stylus, data cable, and 2GB memory card, costs around $190-$200. IMO the best phone at that price range.
Anyway just wondering about the low sound from the phone. Is it because of the phone itself or because of the low quality earphone that comes with the phone?? My friend use sennheiser earphone and the sound quality is great

hey guys the phne worth a buy, all i say is that if u're able to load it with good software, then its great, its more powerful than most of the n series, very low sound though in headphones :-(.....

arun, 16 Jan 2010cant we make video calls by nokia 5230??(after having 3G service)it does not have camera in front so u can't make video calls
even if u have 3g,u can use 3g for internet.

And about the alarm stop problem there has been a firmware update by Nokia recently for 5800 XM that has a change in the Alarm interface by introducing twin slider one to snooze and another to stop the alarm. Note that this is only for 5800 XM. But from this we can expect an firmware update for 5230 soon.
