the nokia 5230 xpressmusic phone music was not so goood if u will compare with 5800 and phone is too delicate to use

GSMArena mentioned in specification that Nokia 5230 has Doc. viewer, but in review they mentioned that there is no doc. viewer.
Which one is right???????????????

2 issues (1 already discussed) till now in phone :-
1) Unable to stop alarm , I stop it it again get snooze :(. Ultimately I have to deactivate it from Alarm properties. Any1 has solution for this problem
2) Unable to send SMS. SMS kept stuck in Outbox and resending also do not work.
DO I need to do some setting ?
there is comparison b/w 5800 and 5230 in this forum...
If budget is constraint then I say at 8000 , 5230 is AWESOME PHONE.
If your have extra 5/6 K , go get it 5800 and have fun with 2 speaker and WiFi.
All my friends who have corby/5800 shocked to 5230 feature/quality at such low price :)

And to those who gripe about the 2mp camera, let me tell you this, even the 5800's 3.5mp with carl zeiss lens will still suck. No camera phone will satisfy anybody. Buy a dedicated digicam.

If you have 5000 Rs to spare you can safely buy 5800 XM. Actually the price difference is not 5000/-. You get the Seinheisser headsets (allegedly worth more than 2000/-)and 8 GB memory card, Data cable [confirm with your retailer]. So the price difference comes out to be less than 2000/-. And this is justified as you get a better camera with flash, a front facing videocall camera, built-in Wi-Fi, built-in stereo speakers that you won't get in 5230.
But if you're on a budget 5230 is the best bet. You can decide for yourself if you really need the features that 5230 lacks mentioned above and wouldn't mind paying more for it.
If you're still not sure between the two and want me to suggest one than I'd say go for 5230 because my mom says "money is better in your pocket than spent on your phone" and for features you'd rarely use.
You also asked about Corby plus and Pro. The QWERTY on them are surely an advantage as it makes typing on the phone really easier. Usually when we type on dedicated keyboard the fact that buttons are physically separated and the tactile feedback gives a good experience. This is to be taken into consideration only if you type long things on your phone. But touch screens aren't bad either.
Built quality of Nokias is excellent. Cost cutting effects are seen on Corbys with materials looking and feeling cheap. I'd prefer Nokia over Samsung. But still you can get a feel for it from your retailer.
Other of your "primary needs" are satisfied by Nokias, I'm not sure about Corbys but you can check with your retailer if you choose Corby.
Its getting long but I want to add one more thing, you said you're buying touchscreen phone for the first time, I would seriously suggest Nokias as they come with a lerger screen which is sure to give you a better experience. And also 3G and GPS, these are excellent feature addition to your phone. And here are some pics of the phones in hand to help you decide :

thnx yaar...you really cleared some of my doubts. but though u r saying 5800 is clearly best, i hav heard that 5230 hav sum better features than 5800. will u pls tell that. secondly i m taking touchscreen for the first time and will not take another one for at least a year thats why i m littlebit causious. wil u pls tell which will b better betn 5230 and these corby plus and pro. does that querty pad really matters or its just a show. My primary needs are good tochscreen as it is a new experience, good call audibility and functions like live call recording which i require, photo call, longer talk time, decent camera ( not a major thing as i hav good digicam ), good features, decent music function and most importantly longer durability in terms of its built also. as i hav heard that samsung mobiles are comparatively delicate than nokia. i dont want it 2 break easily. long query but pls answer as i m going to take in 2 days...thnx

heyyyyyyyyyyyy you all stupids just complaining about no memory card & no data cable ........... u all are still kids get some milk and go drink it ............ what u can think in 8000 cost u can get ???....... but still nokia is providing many things to u ............ and to whom dumb fellows which are comparing this fone with samsung star and lg cookie ---- are u all mad never used a phone before ...... they both are just simple touch screen phone with some widgets and a 3.2 mp camera which is not even good............. nokia 5230 is a great phone i will say it is more better than even 5800xm in terms of softwares since it gives u 434mhz cpu instead of 5800 364mhz cpu and it comes after a year later then it is obvious nokia would have provided more features and applications and about its hardware concern the 2mp camera is really better then 5800xm 3.2 mp camera even though it not have flash and to whom who are saying its sound is below average go check out ur ears never listen a song and just complaining about volume its volume is quite good though it have mono speaker instead of 5800 stereo speaker............ and to whom who are just foolishly asking about document reader are u mad its a smartfone and can easily download as many software with much more better quality............. this fone is really really great then any other fone in ctegory below 12000 cost ............ nokia rocks .............

Does this phone have inbuilt & unlimited call recording?? Will it display the callers no. also if it is in your contact list or only the callers name ?? plz respond as my decision lying on this only...
