I am using this phone for the last 7 days. It is a good phone in this price range. But speaker sound output is very bad, but with bluetooth stereo headset it is amazing. Camera snap is very good in day light. Battery backup is average.Display and touch sensitivity is very good. I think it is value for money.

i bought this phone 2 days ago.belive me its a good phone.images taken frm its camera r of good quality.better than other 2 mp camara phns.its voice quality not bad. screen is very responsive.and kinetic scroling is a really good func. they have added.
and if u r planning to buy this then buy it i bet u wont regret.

Music player has two aspects : UI and Output
- UI of 5230 is fairly good looking with album art and necessary controls ( check this snapshot of music player : http://www.gsmarena.com/showpic.php3?sImg=reviewsimg/nokia-5530-xpressmusic/sshot/gsmarena_054.jpg ). So UI is good
- Audio output : Audio output quality is "perfect" even better than 5800 XM. You can check the 5230 review pg 6 for details.( Here's the link : http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_5230-review-427p6.php )
- Volume (both in speaker and headphone)
Speaker of 5230 is mono. The sound is not crystal clear and also not very loud but it is average sounding.
The provided one is an average one. You can't expect more from a sub-9000 phone. But if you buy some other headsets the sound quality will be top notch depending on the headset you buy. Volume is loud enough.
Verdict : music player : very good, volume is average.

I have bought this 5230,I was told that it has a document viewer,but actually it does not have.and the speaker volume is really bad,Please check for document viewer and Music quality befor buying

Hi i got my 5230 a week back and yes it has a place for stylus just like 5800 and they also provided me strip stylus instead of extra back pack. I bought it for around 8300 from Hyderabad, INDIA. The camera quality at night is far better than 5800. trust me.

Dis phone is a good deal @ just 8,400 Bucks in India...Itz performance and features are worth for the money we pay...no other phone is offering such feature set @ dis cost...Go 4 it!!!Hands On...cheers...U will enjoy it for sure!!!
