it might help. also price difference between Samsung Star 3g, LG Cookie and Nokia 5230 is Large...with Nokia 5230 being the value for money at Rs 9000/-.

hai every body recently i purchased this and its a great experience to use it and to be frank sound effect is not so good but aggreeable camera clarity altough two mega pixel resolution is very good from 6303..altiugh it has flash but it cont match this,,but please can anyone help in how to install mobile office in this and how to install new games and how to enable 3-G in this please,,,,please help me if any body knows....have a great experience with nokia 5230.. this is what i felt ....

Well friends.. This is simply a superb touch phone for users like me, (who has a separate mp3 player and a digital camera), so audio quality and megapixels is not a compulsory measurement for me.
I am buying this phone today and will let you know more recent update/s related to this phone.. like box contents, color, xpress on covers provided or not etc.
Nevertheless, thanks for all your comments which has convinced me buy this phone.. :)

But the reason one wud consider the star is because of the basic functions of the phone are just a single touch away. If samsung guys can come up with widgets just like htc,apple etc then why cant the nokia guys also innovate ? why wait for 2010 to come with such devices ?

hey guys
i was about to buy the nokia 5230 today but i preferred to put a delay, to rethink again because of its specifications. first the phone has got a plastic body, also lacks wi-fi(although 3G is available but as i m a student so i prefer a wi-fi connectivity),lacks dual LED and the carl zeiss lens, i think the pen stylus is also not included as compared to 5800 and i have also heard that the sound quality is also low because 5800 has got stereo speakers whereas 5230 has a mono speaker. i m a little confused till now even nokia 6303 has got 3.2MP dual LED flash as compared to 5230's 2MP and 6303 has steel finished body as compared to 5230's plastic body which looks a bit cheap....
i m helpless for myself...mayb its helpfull for you guys
i may end up buying 6303

in noida (U.P) at nokia prio. it costs Rs8500. and at retailors in noida price varies frm 8000 to 8200.
