AnonD-1647, 15 Feb 2011the problem is i didnt flash with c6 unleashed tribute, jus... moreWell, default browser will always auto exit in c6 based cfw. Same is the case with tribute. It is a bug. Use cfw based on original firmware. (eg, katalyst^2)

Katalyst^2.1will be released soon(based on new update v40.1.003)

novice, 15 Feb 2011hi mates. Wana share a information about camera and picture... moreThe term dpi is usually used for differentiating the density in printed pictures, eg, photos. You can't use dpi in screens or any other electronic displays. Dpi is exactly same as ppi but they are used on different subjects.
Whenever we print a photo out of a digitally stored image (say, from a digital camera to a photo) in studios, we have to do the printing in 300dpi. Human's eye's can differentiate quality, based on density, only upto this level. Anything more will look nothing but the same. Anything less will give a sense of inferiority in quality of the photo.
The thing you said about dpi in camera is, sorry to say, meaningless. Cause i didn't compare the picture quality in a print out. I did it in a constant ppi screen. Hence the pictures when seen on this screen in full zoom will render the same dpi. Getting confused, right?

AnonD-1647, 15 Feb 2011well i realised i didnt flash my phonw with tribute,i tink ... morettpod is present in music folder. Photo browser is present in photos folder with the name 'a modern way of browsing photos'. Ttpod is supplied in 'think change 'folder of memory card with the cfw .
If you still cannot solve the component built in problem, use 'nokia firmware cleaner '. It is a good tool to remove unwanted apps from the firmware before flashing.

Picture clearity is highly dependent on dpi( depth per inch of picture taken) a 1.3 mega pix camera with 90 dpi wil take more clear pics than 3.15 mega pix camera with same dpi. However size of 3.15 mega pixel pics wil be large. One thing to note . With increase in pixel size . Dpi must be increased otherwise picture will be blured. You can check the dpi of picture by opening it in windows picture viewer and check properties then advance.

Nice experiment. Great job bro. I thought that their(5800,5530) picture quality is better than ours.but now its clear, our mobile can capture great photos like or more better than them.

AnonD-1647, 14 Feb 2011Finally i flashed to c6 unleashed!quite impressed, but even ... moreThe major problem about c6 firmware is that backed up data can't be restored. It doesn't detect the presence at all. Don't know if its the same with pc suite backup. Try it.
Music files are not being detected maybe because you need to keep them in a perticular folder. Check the details of the firmware in dailymobile. Also put forth a question there itself. They will surely help.
I am not very sure about the pinkish tint of this camera's photos. Whatever photo i take seems exactly the same as that of the environment. Although bright but i haven't noticed any tint of such kind. Its worth noting that i don't click much photos, to be sure. So, it may be true.
The reason i said that 5800, 5530 camera is bad because i have done a hands on experiment. Once i had to copy some Chemistry practical notes of a friend of mine. So i just decided to take photos of the pages. He had a 5530. Thinking that his mobile having more resolution would give better visibility of the letters, i clicked some pages (maintaining sufficient distance to capture the whole page, alone). To my disappointment, the photos were very much out of focus. It was impossible to even read them. Just then i though that i should try mine. I had big doubt that mine would take better picture. So, i clicked some pages (same spot, same lighting and same distance). Then when i saw the preview of the page, i had my jaw dropped. Each and every letter, commas, full stops, etc were damn clear even upto 100% zoom. My friend was soooo amazed. Although he felt bad about it he simply said that he has never been able to take that clear a picture ever, in such close proximity. And i was feeling on top of the world. He added that his cousin's 5800 takes even worse photos than his 5530, which he already did a hands on experiment himself before.
So, as i always say. Resolution itself doesn't do any good to photos. There are far more important aspects of photo quality and clarity than its resolution. This is a fitting example of that.
