nice phone its better than N8 cool and nice price also after all Nokia keeps on doing new phone so why buy expensive phone then you will change your phone when nokia comes up with their latest design....Dont tell me guys that you will no change your phone for something new hahaha.....

novice, 07 Feb 2011there are many high defination games available for s60v5 th... morePlayed them all. None of them are what one might call high definition. There are only a handful of HD games (not really HD, more like 3D) for s60v5 and none of them work on nokia devices. They are meant for devices with 3D accelerators like Omnia HD and SE Vivaz. And these games are over 30 MB in size and lag like hell on Nokia's s60v5 devices.

at last i am successfull in sharing my roommate pc dsl with 5233 over bluetooth. Now using dsl over bluetooth with downloading speed of 70 to 85 k and lightning fast browsing experience. For more google hiisi proxy.

However voice calling is great. I used to call my brother in russia and call over internet did not drop for an hour by using skype. With nimbuz voice caling is great too. But you must be in area where edge service is available. Hope it helps.

Install ngage and you will gain access to hundreds of games or install gpsp and gain access to thousands of games. N8 and the other symbian^3 devices are the only ones in symbian that has dedicated graphics chip. Why should developers make quality games for s60v5 if they already know that the majority phones won't be able to run them. Now at least they have got a graphics chip to rely on. Its like having a notebook and dreaming of playing H.A.W.X,
Symbian^1 is excellent for apps but is useless for gaming. At least the graphics intensive one. There are classics like 'spore'(around 5mb) that plays great in 5233. But if you play 'shift'(62mb) then....dream on....
It isn't offensive but we really need to stop asking for everything at a price which gives a 5233.

Its awesome ,using this phone for last 7 months.No hanging problem, moderately fast and really user-friendly UI . Design 7/10 , Features 7/10 , performance 9/10. [ Some users install bad unauthentic , not fully supported applications , some users infect their mobile with some virus (without bothering at all) - AND LASTLY WHAT IS THE IMPRESSION ABOUT THIS PHONE "ITS REALLY DISGUSTING" . Use it with little care its really good ]

i have installed 49 usefull softwares and 29 games.total 78 thrd party softwares. And mobile is running ok with 8gb card. Not very fast not very slow. Then why use custom firmware????

gallery is fast.Video player has 'next' option.
Call logs are integrated with dialler.
Flash option in camera is replaced with video option.
better camera quality.
Go to gallery in camera is replaced by 'go to photos'
Browsing is fast.Do not use ram killer(accept the fact) swype.
Homescreen goes to landscape with transitions.
With a clean homescreen and with no apps running in background,you will get 65-70mb ram at start.

the album art of the songs are not cuming nd theres a song tht does`nt show itz name or any kind of details it does`nt even open...nd rest of the songs album art is also affected by it i think..plzzzz help!!

AnonD-915, 06 Feb 2011guys.i faced some problems of my 5233.when i go to gallery ... moreyour explanations are not clear for me. In which folder of the memory card did you store those images/videos?If it is in a hidden folder, it will not be displayed. Use explore app and check the attributes of that folder. If it shows hidden or read only status , uncheck those options.
Or move the contents to another folder in card and then check the gallery.

guys.i faced some problems of my 5233.when i go to gallery in images and videos,there's no images and videos are displayed! and when i take pics,the old images are there.but the same happens.again,when i go to gallery in images and videos,the pictures are not there! i dont know whats happening on my phone.please help.tnx
