And I use a fw with CPU mod to increase performance so obviously I expect a lesser standby. But others with non modded fw should get even better standby.
you can charge the phone anyway you want. Either with power turned on or off. The diplay is the main power hog in this phone so make sure you lock the screen as soon as you're finished using it. And don't let any apps work in the background. Also set the backlight time out to 15secs and auto lock to 30secs. This way, the display will go dim at 15secs and turn off at 30 at the same time the screen will also lock automatically reducing power consumption.

shortcuts on main (home) screen for 5233:
1. Pressing time will open date/time settings menu. Alarm can also be set here.
2. Pressing date will help you to open either calender or set profile like silent/offline/etc.
3. Pressing bell sign on top right (ie if alarm is set) will give you alarm time and pressing it will take you to alarm setting menu.
4. Pressing bluetooth icon will take you to bluetooth menu.

Speed, 24 Aug 2010Does using 8 gb card make the phone work slow? what is the ... moreNo 8GB card doesn't slow the phone down as long as you have a class6 or atleast a class4 card. I'm using a class6 transcend 8GB card and it is as fast as a 2GB TF card. Class6 cards are a bit expensie and quite rare though. But it's very well worth the money and you won't regret it. There is one seller on ebay.in that sells genuine class6 cards. The price will be around 1200rs.

Wow its video quality's greate. I've recorded some video clip and post to my facebook. It's looks like recorded from handycame. Awsom! Also sound record quality's grate. It records mp3 formate. Overall superb phone. N please friends don't fight each other. This forum for helping other. Person to person everything'll differ. That's why we don't have to fight. But in my comment within this price it's the best phone u can get with multitasking support.

Since you dohn't have a UPS, flashing seems to be the safer option than updating using OVi suite. In addition, it only takes less than a minute to do so. So the risks are low anyway and even if the process is interrupted while the flashing is going on, you can still repeat the process and try again. Just make sure you backup all your data before doing so.
