You and sidewinder are my favorites in this forum. Reason, you guys don't give false comments. Your explainations are presise and accurate. My previous phone was a nokia 5130, so i am kind of a s40 expert. Firmware flashing, system hacking are things that interest me a lot. So please bear with me when i sometimes pop out some questions which might require some extended explainations from you. I have posted hundreds of replies in the 5130 forum in order to help others. So i know your worth and i very much appreciate your efforts.

You are a businessman & you are just using a 5233? Shouldn't you be ashamed of yourself bragging no-nonsense about yourself? Nokia's 5233 is built for music lovers. Each Nokia phone is detailed for every individual's needs. The things that came along in the box are just accessories. Do you know what accessories mean? Have you ever tried the "Enterprise" or "E-series" for business people? I'd bet you haven't tried the E-72?

what do you mean you just flashed your phone? You used a software & a hardware attached to the phone's motherboard, wiped out the old & installed the latest firmware? Phoenix flashing is removing the OS of the phone & installing back the OS & upgrading it to the latest firmware. Phoenix flashing is done only at any Nokia Carepoints. If you know what Phoenix means?

Have you ever tried playing the music without a headset & compare the sound emitted? Actually the sound that you hear are coming out from the headsets. Ever try listening to a music being emitted from a 5800 XM or N97 mini? I bet you haven't. If you want quality bass sound emitted from headsets/ headphones check-out this website: http://www.headphonereviews.org/manufacturer.php.

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2010hey,all you people out der,,dis is just fooling your eyes b... moreDear Anonymous,
Nokia just invented the Expressmusic family because there was a demand for people if that there is a possibility to incorporate a music player in a cellphone. Before Sony-Ericsson became it to be, it was just plain old Ericsson. Boooorrring! Ho-humm. Sony, being a TV manufacturer, bought out Ericsson - thus becoming Sony-Ericsson. Sony just added the sound quality, in which was derived from the TV's. If we are to discuss the sound quality like of SONY XPLODE, it compares NOTHING to Cerwin-Vega, Earthquake, MTX, Kicker, etc. Comparing to a NOKIA, it has services like OVI Sync. Synchronizing your phone data (encrypted) in the World Wide Web. Sony-Ericsson can't top that! If you NOTICED in this website, NOKIA is the FIRST among the list.

The size of a BYTE is typically hardware dependent, but the modern de facto standard is 8 BITS, as this is a convenient power of 2. Most of the numeric values used by many applications are representable in 8 BYTES and processor designers optimize for this common usage.

khanhanu, 21 Aug 2010confused between nokia 5233 n nokia x3... pple any suggesti... moreIt's a great phone and definitely better than X3. It's a symbian smart phone with specs similar to the 5800 and a more responsive touch screen. Yes touch screen does need some getting used to. It took me almost a week to completely feel at home using the touch interface but once you get used to it, i'm sure you won't look back.
