Rony, 26 Jul 2010Hi i'm living in bangladesh. I'm having a problem with my n... moreHey Rony, I experienced the same problem. At the middle of the day, it changes time even if the automatic time update is off. And everytime I turn the phone off, it changes time when I open it. Even I turn on/off the automatic time update, it still changes time. I tried soft reset but didn't work. Hard reset solved my problem. Some 5233 and 5530 have problems with time bug and experienced in diffrnt counties. Some can be fix by simple time update or reset but some are not. Try hard reset coz it works in my phone.

[deleted post]Plz don't come so hard on sidewinder. He gave us a lot of valuable suggestions, that really helped us to tweak this set. Thanks goes to him that i've chosen this set. With all due respect, 5233 has been a decent mobile for this price.

By the way rony, put your blame on those smart*ss ppl of nokia care center in Bangladesh. It is not us who shud discover this simple solution, but those dumb nokia guys(or gals)! But they r so busy with their styling and makeups, they cudn't care a little for us!

For all 5233 users from Bangladesh:

I've faced that time and date problem, and it was extremely annoying. Here is a quick solution for you. Set your time zone as bhutan, GMT +6, after that turn off the automatic time update. I've not faced a single problem with the time of this set after doing this minor change. Hope this will help you too. 5233 really rocks!

[deleted post]I think a good quality screen guard is enough protection for the screen. Having a protective pouch will guard you display from sudden shocks but will seriously scratch the case and ruin the looks of the phone. My friend uses the nokia Cp-305 pouch. His phone is already showing a lo of wear and tear from the constant scratching each time he slides out the phone from the pouch. While on the other hand, mine without the pouch look new just like it did when I bought it about 5 months back...
I don't give it much care. i use it like any other non touch phone and carry it casually in my pocket. I'm a college student and big pouches sticking out of you jeans pocket can make you look really stupid...
