Hi i'm living in bangladesh. I'm having a problem with my nokia 5233. Every time i adjust my phones time it changes back to 1hour. Time jone's set to bangladesh and its shows gmt +7, but bangladesh is in +6. Also it shows a sign like a sun which mean daylight saving, also there isn't any option for turn off daylight saving. But bangladesh dos not have any any daylight saving they started but stopped. Anyone can suggest me how to solve it. It's happening after update to v21. I took to nokia care but still happening. Hopefully any one will help. N thanks in advance.

I bought this phone 3 days ago from Nokia Care Shop. The problem is that the sound volume is too low to hear. I am not sure about this is my set's problem or by default this set's volume is low. Can anyone tell me about the sound volume of this set?

Frm where i can have the ful wrkng vrsns of adobe pdf rdr,quck ofce,fngrprnt rdr...they should work on normal vrsns of 5233

You just need to follow all the instructions clearly that's all and as if with any phone update you do, make sure the phone is fully charged and be careful not to disconnect the phone during the update process. It's something we're used to doing even when we do the update using the Nokia software updater. Make sure you do a full backup of your personal data onto the memory card as well as PC suite just to be safe.
I'm using it for the past one week and I must tell you that I really enjoy the speed and performance improvements so much so that i may never go back to the original fware.
The stock headset is crap. i have mine still in the box unpacked. instead I use my philips she9800 earphones with advanced acoustics. I also use this earphone to do benchmark listening tests against other mobiles. You can opt for the lesser expensive philips SHH9700 which is just as good or go for the creative EP-630 or 635 which is also good for the price you pay...

sulekha, 26 Jul 2010hey please let me know if the features of this fone other t... moreyes apart from the lack of 3G and GPS, this phone is an exact copy of 5230. You can't even tell the difference by looking at the phone or even the interface. But the absence of 3G and GPs offers other advantages. First up this phone is a bit more power efficient and gives a better battery backup. The touchscreen I believe is more responsive than the 5230 though this might be purely subjective. The UI is definitely faster than 5230. The rest is all the same. They even share the same firmware update (latest is V21) with similar improvements in features. I do own a gunmetal grey 5233 and it looks way better than the plasticky white 5230.
Music quality and other multimedia features are exactly the same. So if 3G is not a priority, then you should definitely go for 5233 but paying a little extra for 3G and GPS seems reasonable in the case of 5230 too. Both are good and it only comes to personal preferences.
I'd advice you to buy 5233 instead of 5230 and save the rest to get a good pair of earphones. it will definitely pay off in the end.

But depending on the network conditions and other factors, maybe 2 hours continuous on a full charge... Based on assumptions only as I managed to get 3hours of continuous video playback time with a single charge. You may squeeze a bit more out by dimming the backlight during surfing and turning the screen off while waiting for the page to load completely.

hey please let me know if the features of this fone other than absence of 3g and gps are exactly same as 5230.my frnd uses it and i love that fone but i dont want 3g..
is music player ,camera and all same..
