Hi friends i have purchesed this handset 20 days ago but now i am facing hanging problem and some time this phone is automitacally restarting .Please any one tell me how i am able to over come such type of problems.

The right ear ... moreYes man, my very first wh 701 which i got in the box have problems of low volume in left side (with a small wire) after using it for 15 days. So i throw it in nokia care, then they kept it & told me to come after 20 days. I got a brand new white Wh 701 after 20 days and it worked amazing good, the volume is also too loud, but i faced the same problem with the left earplug after using it for a week. And i'm gonna throw it again to the nokia care and if i got the same prob again then i will complain in consumer forum. I'm fed up with all this. I sware i will never buy a nokia device again. Reply soon.....

M facing the same problem as u.... The right ear plug of my earphones have stopped working.... Phone's under warranty... U said u got it replaced does that mean earphones are also covered under warranty?? Reply soon....

monu, 06 Oct 2010Its a superb mobile....... but its very difficult to mark s... moremonu see you like it great nothing like it. But some things like when nokia's giving it 1million songs download and and not having a good loudness makes no sense to me i made a mistake so i posted here. Its a personal choice. Poor divx play back.

Before You buy any earphone's or headphone see the back for sensitivity level- 120db per milliwatt higher the no. Better the loudness and sound out put from thdo

Biswarup Biswas, 06 Oct 2010 nokia 5235 is a nice mobile. Compare with other moblile it... moresorry bishwas g make audio amps and speakers . The audio of there phone's is coming from a very very tiny amp compared to e63 or e52 or n78 or 5800 which have discreet headphone amp.

Its a superb mobile....... but its very difficult to mark some photos to send ..... and other thing is, Didnt uploaded a faster browser these r the main drawbacks ...............

nokia 5235 is a nice mobile. Compare with other moblile its sound quality and other facilities are too good

Bcoz my previous wh 701 have right-left volume balance problem after using it for 15 days. So it got replaced by a new wh 701 but i'm facing the same problem after using it 4 days. But i have wh 102 too and there is no problem with it even after a heavy use of 2 months.so what should i do aditya?

Do u feel there are better options at this price range..
Though I could get a better spec in samsung I am doubtful about the build quality.I mean if it accidentally falls down,I dont think those phones last longer if you dont handle them properly.

hii guys
i m a electronics person by education, so some thing that i put would be a technicall but important ,
i have had N78 for 3 years but due to its keyboard design i had to cell it.
i bought nokia 5235 ,
also managed to get its service schematics, and compared its audio section with my N78, E52, E50
what i find is that, N78 and E52 are phones that give actual audio output ie, there is no DC going in to the headphone, - how i came to know of it is , you would ask,
i have connected my phone to sennheiser PMX60 headsets (0ne you get with Nokia 5800) , during track change, or when you are in bet of songs and you receive a call or sms, the music stops with a click and pop sound which is a indication that output is not dc blocked, and this thing in longer run wold affect the head phone,
the same happens you would connect the phone with an amplifier or amplified computer speakers,
Nokia could have probably avoided this by using the same thing they did in N78 ie using a Texas instruments class d audio headphone amp.
they have done it in E52, E63, 5800 ,
i m saying this after reading service manual and hunting service schematics and also opening up my phone out of curiosity,
i have also noticed that the altimeter function in the 5230 , 5235 phone is quite inaccurate as at sea level in bombay it show -55m to 63m where as in my N78 and N95 8gb (friends) i dont see this freak thing that indicates that the at normal sea level we are below it,
the 5233, 5230 , 5235, series phone have poor video playback capacity also, ie when you install the divx labs divx player, and try to play a file which was re encode to fit the phones screen along with reduction in video bitrate, the colours go like 65k colour screen and when the movie has some fast action , its shown with very very low frame rate ranging from 9 to 15frames
it didnt happen with N78 or E52, i had used Core player 1.2 on both the phones and also divx labs player,
rest is your wish if you want to go for this phone or not,
i m not so satisfied with this phone quality,
though one thing is there N78 could nto work wiht airtel mobile office at all , this 5235, 5230 work like a dream, i have got speeds up to 35kBps while downloading ovi songs and other stuff,
i felt like righting ths review coz gsm arena hasnt done it, yet , and i felt like puting some things that i felt on the net,

walkman, 04 Oct 2010its my last nokia device the next one will be samsung or LG... moreQuite right - Samsung and LG win when it comes to hardware but loose on software (in this price range). 5235 scores only because of Symbian and navigation. But now you can get Samsung Galaxy 5 for almost the same price, which wins on both counts and in addition also has wifi along with better camera (though it is also 2MP only) and speakers. 5235 now seems quite overpriced.
