NCC too provides the 5230 upgrade in the name of 5235 for 5235
Itz a total shame........for a company like nokia.....
Hope they shud have a ready xcuse wid them......
So itz the 5230 style that has replaced ur old style....

Hi, I bought 5235 one month before. I had severe problems with my cell phone getting hang. Especially when I was getting call from some one to whom I was calling too. I got the sw upgraded form nokia care center, but a new problem arouse. All my theme got changed. The contact bars, menus were white buttons with black text. Exact reverse of that what we have initially. The care center representative says that it is because of sw upgrade. I dont understand this and not at all satisfied by the answer given by NCC.

I spoke to nokia care regarding this, and their advice is not to install any antivirus. The Symbian or Android platform is not very prone to virus attacks, unlike Windows. Anyways, I have not faced virus issues in the 4 months I have used the set, although I browse intensively.

Hello friends,
Gone through the forum already,but having a few doubts.Can you please confirm whether Nokia has released firmware updates for 5235?
Apart from the metallic monochrome and headset I dont see any diff between 5230 and this one(even memory is the same).Can you please suggest is it worth spending 1000 bucks extra for this(I already have seinheiser headset with me )

but it slows down my 5235 very much
is there any other antivirus better than netqin???

it music player is very bad. so i suggest by the other nokia handset 5235 is not sucessfull. ok have a nice day

Questions about differences between 5230 and 5235 have been answered several times, but one issue has been left out - it seems the 5230 comes with a very useful car holder / mobile holder. The 5235 does not come with this.
This really pissed me off as I'd much rather have the car holder with a 5235, which would be very useful esp. while navigating, rather than the useless music download pack of the 5235 and its bloated price.
