hey guys,anuj,arpit982,please help me! i bhought my 5235 on 14th,is there any way to increase volume of this device because it is very low and i'm not talking abt speaker. even full sound via wh 701 is too low. is there any way to increase volume like firmware upgrade to 5230's v21 or any software or any hack, please guys HELP MEEEEEEEE!!

anup69, 16 Aug 2010no dude still no use.. i tried each n everythin. even conta... morethe problem u r getting is because of incomplete driver installation.....the first thing u can try is go to the add and remove programmes in the control panel......remove each and everything related to nokia i.e. Ovi suite...pc suite... Nsu.....nokia connectivity cable drivers....
Aftr this restart ur computer and reinstall using ur CD..... Restart again.... Close the ovi suite application from the task bar.... Connect ur phone using pc suite mode.....wait for windows to install drivers.... Thn start ovi suite and try to connect internet using manual settings...

prashant, 16 Aug 2010buddy its a cell with 16GB memory limit... if u try increas... moredude it happened with me also but the file size increases not because of the audio bitrate but because of the video resolution.....the movie u were trying to convert must be having a native resolution less than 640x480.....try using default screen resolution to convert....

the is cool for web browsing but has only 2mp camera and dosenot have secondary camera

hey evry1...
did anyone who flashed his/her handset's firmware noticed two installed modules of C++ library's on thier handset...
menu -> setting ->application mgr.->(scroll the list to bottom n u may see two standrd C++ libraries)..
any1 has any idea abt em?

arpit982, 16 Aug 2010the video settings and resolution are correct try getting t... morebuddy its a cell with 16GB memory limit... if u try increasing the quality of sound n vdo (by increasing bit rate) u'll surely fall short of memory... its a basic setting with gud result... i tried converting a muvi on higher bit-rate(2500for vdo, 320 for audio), the file size crossed 1GB.. if som1 has tried some other codec for the vdo then plz do share with full specs of codec settings... (in reasonable memory size).

I have changed my firmware to V21 and again changed product code to 5235, if nokia releases FOTA to 5235 as well as 5230 , which update my 5235 will accept?

arpit982, 16 Aug 2010if u r able to access aircel gprs(not wap) on ur mobile the... moreno dude still no use.. i tried each n everythin. even contacted aircel cc. my comp s recognisin my mob(i mean thepc suite s showin tat its 5235 connected but when i connected to the net its showin modem not found) aircel guys told the settings n tats al they could do. b/w

Deval, 16 Aug 2010How is sound clarity n speakers?loudspeaker is mono only. if you want to listen to music via loudspeaker, i suggest you buy hamburger speaker.

[deleted post]5235 and 5230 is basically the same hardware
5235 is more expensive because:
1. it comes with a limited free downloads from ovi music
2. it comes with a better wh-701 Nokia earphone, same earphone packe with some 5800 and X6 packages
3. it has a chrome (or made to look like chrome) edging as pictured above.
all functionalities are the same with 5230.

noypi, 16 Aug 2010If you flashed a fw for 5230, then it would have the model ... moreThanx 4 the info. In that case, since there seems to be no diff between what nokia care is doing and what can be done at home, shouldn't the warranty cover stay in spite of flashing 5235 with 5230's firmware?

anup69, 15 Aug 2010i am wit aircel. My os is xp..if u r able to access aircel gprs(not wap) on ur mobile then connect ur phone to nokia ovi suite
Go to the connect to the internet option and select set the connection manually.... Set the access point as ''aircelgprs.pr'' (FOR PREPAID) and ''airtelgprs.po'' (FOR POSTPAID), leave everything else empty..... then try to connect......if u r unable contact the coustmer care....
The connection i m using is airtel and my os is windows 7..... I m now able to connect it....
