hey guys...
finally i got my phone updated by nokia care and the crazy thing is that they updated it with nokia 5230's firmware....
typing *#0000# shows:
software version v21.0.004
software version date 05-06-2010
Language set 21
Model No. 5230
Type RM 588
every thing is fast and smooth...the default games have change to that of 5230...kinetic scrolling everywhere... no lag in auto UI rotation... every thing is fine .... the phone works great...

and download free version provided by quick office to view office files ( .ppt .xls .doc) this version allows viewing but u gotta pay for the editing

its open source so its free
and for those who want a free and legal .doc .xls .ppt viewer they can download a free version provided by quick office .... it will allow u to view office file but u have to pay to get editing features ...

download the first file named AlternateReader S9.4 1.08(4) Release.sisx
And for those who want a office document viewer ie. .doc .ppt .xls file viewer just download a free version from the quick office site. The free version allows viewing but u have to pay to get the editing services...

I have installed software version 21.0.004 on my 5235. It is originally made for 5230 but I changed product code and did that. Its worth of doing because 5235's software v 12.6.92 was very slow compared to 5230 and update is not available officially. Now I have fast software and some new features.
