Other features are same. But, the difference between 5230 and 5235 is just PERFORMANCE, nothing else. no difference in features and all.

nokia pc suite has installed 2 modems for my 5235 on my notebook - one usb modem and one bluetooth modem. Strangely both are identified as 5230 modems! And ovi music identifies my device as 5233 when transferring music! I understand that the hardware of the 3 devices overlap, but am not fully convinced. I would like to check if anyone else had the same experience. Incidentally, I have bought the handset from a very reputable dealer with warranty card and all.

Dolon, 13 Jul 2010cant figure out why my phone memory is constantly decreasin... moreIt is normal. When you install applications and store them on memory card or if you are downloading them from OVI store and they are automatically being stored on memory card; some files of these applications are needed to be on phone and those get automatically saved on phone memory. For eg if you install an application on memory card, 99% of its files will go to mass storage and remaining to phone memory (without your concent as its essential), just as an example but how many files will go to phone memory is different for different applications. This is why your phone memory is decreasing. However even if you install hundreds of applications, phone memory used by them would be mere 2-3 MB and you will still be left with plenty of amount on phone memory.

cant figure out why my phone memory is constantly decreasing by about 0.1 to 0.2 mb per day. I save my msgs in my m card and always clear all privacy data, cache and all, when finished with a browsing session. Restarting the phone doesnt help either. Anyone know a way to recover phone memory?

Both are good at their positions. 3G is mobile service provides supported and WiFi works on 3rd party wireless networks of data service providers. 3G will cost you as per tariff plan by your operator and you will be able to use it wherever 3G phone network available. WiFi works within short range of signal spots/routers and you don't have to pay directly to use it.

as this phone lacks 3g, does accessing ovi store costs u via ur provider? I have never used 3g or wifi, and am not sure which of these two is good to have (if u cant have both together). In India, will 3g be expensive when it arrives?
