because 5250 is a 2010 phone while 5233 is from 2009 technology

iJohn, I was surprised to know that nokia 5250 is priced Php 7000 at CMKCellphones, more expensive than 5233 which is currently priced Php 6450. I just don't get it.

Low end touch phone, low budget phone, low power 1000 mah battery (very sad to me), low network (without umts or hsdpa tech), Low camera class, and so 5250 is for low hopes.

Only in the Philippines.
5230 will be out in the market for good and 5250 will replace 5230 for good. Confirmed by my boss and one of the nokia account representative in our store. No confirmed price for this phone though. But my wild guess, this phone will be around 5000 to 5500 php definitely will not hit 6k because thats the price of 5233.
This will kick the samsung champ and lg t300 out of the league. I'd rather buy this one over sammy's champ.
Waiting for this one to hit the market.

believe me, 5230 is a MUCH better phone, display is smaller, it's way too glossy, fingerprints stay all over it and there is actually no improvements over it's predecessor, the 5230.
Big (-) to NOKIA for this one... :(
