Anonymous, 07 Oct 2010low spec of 5530.. hope sell under $100 to kick samsung champ :)No, this will cost around $130 or bit less than 100 euro. You cannot compare this to samsung champ as 5250 is a full fledged smartphone and the champ is a simple java phone.

hey Guys need some help... all seem to be xperts in Mobile Phones, i want to kno that i have a Budget of 8Ks and want a camera with a Neat Camera(3.2mps) for Video/still with looks and a Powerful Battery Life looking at 10-12 hours of Talktime will this Phone suite my above mentioned criteria, please Help

Nokia 5228 is like 5230 without GPS, and it's cheaper.
Now comes 5250, which doesn't have 3G connectivity so it's positioned as cheaper than 5228 and 5230.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2010nokia obviously employed a sony designer on this one can yo... moreNo. Actually, this is a consequence of the fact that almost all touch-enabled phones these days look alike. Just head over to the HTC page on this site and try to make out which phone is which by looking only at the images. Then look at the text and try to figure out what makes similar models different. The fact is that ever since the touch-screen revolution, phone designers have been slacking off. LG are probably the only manufacturer that tries to bring something new to the table (KU990 or BL40 spring to mind). And I don't think that the designers are even trying anymore; it's not just about form factor...size and shape has to be taken into consideration: what about the nokia 3300(loved that phone to bits) or N70. they had outrageous designs (the N70 with the hump on the back)or the 7710 (this was a very original touch-enabled phone).
Basically,everyone imitates everyone because they became fixated on the Iphone look-alike candybar touchscreen phone and ignore other shapes...
It's simply sad...
