You r absolutly correct but what is the meaning of symbol E which r appearing on my phone from 3 days & how can i change this to G. And when i using the appl like opera mini it ask for preffered access point & my prfd access point setting is blank now , i am using idea (chitchat) prepaid , so plz send me prefd access point setting through which i can use the opera mini 4.1 . I am waiting for your reply...

EDGE is a lot of times faster than GPRS. To get speeds above 6kBps, you have to use EDGE using which you can easily get speed of 20kBps and even 29kBps if the network congestion in ur area is low.

Hi!guys i using this phone from two months . Its looks goods sound quality is also good but a new problem occuring while browsing i using idea prepaid and it supports edge and my browsing mode is alternatively change from gprs to edge but from two days my browsing mode is freezed in edge mode and it not changed into gprs and the main problem is the edge mode of this phone is weaker than gprs so please give me a suitable process or setting by which i can change my edge mode into gprs mode. Please reply ...

Guys, I bought this phone less than a year a go, btw, I bought the black edition.. Kinda cool at first, but after that, problems keep occuring.. I changed the battery the 3rd day I bought it.. And then, on off prob and hang, the guy said it is the software prob, and now my phone is being repaired, almost a week, they don't even know what's the prob.. I think I'll buy a new one, I don't think this is a good phone.. 5/10 only..

thanks for reply. i do have settings for WAP as well as MMS & i can use internet via web application of mobile but to be able to use application like opera mini & Yahoo go which i have installed it ask for a preferred access poing.
i also noticed under settings & congig settings there is a option of preferred access poing which is blank as of now.
can you please let me know what settings i choose for that. may be you can send me your settings patern so i can ollow the same

Well well... I atlast bought da fone n its completely superb! dis is a really amazing fone. B4 dis I used 2 use SE W700.No wonder its better den dat!!

U mst hwever make sure you have an access point name (APN), this u create manually coz the default browser doesnt have one already on. U'll b flying smooth after.

No flash,cnt play qvga video,2.5mm port instead of 3.5-bt high speed&realy v high spd bluetoth,irda,qvga display,cool desin,gud music quality,music keys-i wud gv 8.5 as for itz price range.

This phone is the best it has everything but the the only thing is that the iternal memory is 5mb so you have to buy a memory card but except for that i wouold give it a 8 out of 10 and it feels good and has a pretty much cool design.

I use mini latest versn in dis phn &it works v smooth.2run mini,u must hv internet settings in ur phn.othrws,it wnt work.as soon as u hv da settings,open opera mini&it wil chck automatcly network setings.

my phone! evntough the cam is only 1.3, but the image produced i much bettr than a SE 1.3mp cam phone. hu3

i just my hands on this phone, just a basic music phone with not so great feature like anyother smartphone, this phone also does not support any other browser like opera mini, i could install it but while you run the application this phone could not locate the APN settings, it just keep asking to check the settings,when nokia customer care contacted they could not help me either so if any one have solution to it please mail me at viv241@gmail.com
