Good - Superb Sound Quality, Bass-Tsunami in the Ears.
Bad - Very Slow & Lagging Camera and Soft Loudspeaker.

i love this cell phone the 3.5 mm head phone jack , the 2gb card in the package ,the slim beautiful body and its speakers its simply awesome

Just got this Phone with FW 3.63. Every great except the fact that every time I receive an sms, the volume (which is set to max) is reset to nominal level. Think this may be the reason pple say the phone is soft when talking...
Anyone else experience this or have a solution for it?

This phone is truly a waste of money. Might as well burn up ur dough and have some fun rather than buy it.
I bought one a week ago and boy am i sad now. I KNEW that the battery was BAD and the ringvolume was LOW. so i had made peace with missing calls and recharging it every day. what I DID NOT KNOW is that the data cable port has a cover which does not click back into place. I DID NOT KNOW that nokia firmware of late is so bad that they can't stop the phone from swithching off (in b/w a call) with no warning. I DID NOT KNOW that the camera takes DECADES to save a single photograph.
I've used a LOT of phones and trust me, this is a bad one from the Nokia stables.

My 5310 battery lasts ages compared to my 6300s. I had a 3.60 version of 5310 an took it back due to restarts the 1 it was replaced with had software 3.63 an ive had no problems whatsoever since if that helps

i bought this fone recently it is a very superb fone! everything works great, and fyi it can store as many messages as you like.
battery is excellent! even with so much usage of games, text and call, and music player and radio, it can last 2 FULL DAYS.
everything is great, mine is a 3.63 ver made in china, it is WAY better than the ones made in Europe, no problems whatsoever. no freezing as well, ive had this fone almost a month now.
one downside though, Nokia, are you sure it is a music fone? (joke, that is because the loudpeakers are not that good. But yeah, what can u expect from a very thin fone. se w880i has loud speakers, but theyre not sony quality, very distorted sound coming from a sony fone)
and btw, if u hook it up to any stereo player with Aux INPUT/high-end headphones, the music IS EXCELLENT.No questions there.

im really confused if i will buy this unit. ANY CONCERN CITIZEN here that can tell if this 5310 is worth to have.
does the new firmware version 3.63 solve the restarting problems & the freezing issue.
I REALLY DO LIKE THIS MODEL, BUT THE PROBLEM IS I AM AFRAID TO HAVE A PHONE WITH LOTS OF PROBLEMS/DEFAULT/BUGS.
its like buying brand new clothes with hole in it.

What about battery life of 5310 as compared to 6300. 6300 battery is worst ever seen. Plz reply.

I have a 6300 an 5310 an personaly i prefer 5310 the battery lasts ages compared to 6300 an 5310 in my opinion is better with 5th edition series 40 wheras 6300 has 3rd edition

Hey, after reading most of your opinions and problems with your phones, i still dont know which to buy!!! 6300 or 5310??? please, i need some advice.
And when do you get the additional 2GB memory card??? is it with 5310 Music Express Version only???

I am very sorry to say , the audio sound system is very poor as a Music Express version.
