it's battery life is much better than 6300!
i've both of these phones!
definately best music phone of this year!!
and i've had many this year!

uhm... doesn't the nokia 6300 also has 2 megapixel? are u saying that there are different qualities of the 2 megapixel feature of each nokia unit? are 5310,6300,n70,6267,6233, etc.. having all the same 2 megapixel have different qualities?

Okay, everyone hear this: THE NOKIA 5310 CAMERA IS LOUSY. Everybody wait for one year, hold on to your bucks until the price of this unit goes down and the bugs have all been ironed out. DON'T BUY THE NOKIA 5310! BUY THE NOKIA 6300 INSTEAD.

The camera is really bad,Slow,limited,blurry. Pointless being 2mp at the quality it is...

Hey guys, how about the battery life, someone please give us feedback on the battery life.
Can the FM radio be used in flight mode? Can the phone run without a SIM? How about the display, is it really better than the 6300? How about the screen brightness? Is is t better or inferior to the 6300?

Hi i got this on the 4th of Nov, gave a full charge over the night and the next day the software crashed, it was shutting down automatically and finaly it never powered up after one final shutdown. I took it to the nokia care centre and it is been lying with them for past 3 days, they are unable to find the problem. so when you buy make sure you check the phone properly.

This phone is excellent cause it is so thin&it is a Nokia,only drawback is keypad cause it is small

About the keypad light. I found it weak too, but after a short while I found that I actually like it. It is perfectly adequate as I find it always possible to easily see the numbers under different conditions. The light turns itself on and off automatically depending on the surroundings.

i bought the nokia 5310 on monday & there is nothing great in this phone it's a normal nokia multimedia phone .

Is the keypad backlighting really that poor? It can't be seen in a dark room?

I was in SM CIty Cebu Philippines, Nokia had this on promo price 13,700 pesos zero interest by credit card. But they ran out of stocks quickly. So far this is what I got from you guys:
1. weak speaker volume
2. poor battery life
3. unstable operating system
Can more of you confirm these problems of the 5310? I'm waiting for one year until all the bugs have been reported by the new buyers and a new stable version of the phone comes in, of course the price would have dropped considerably by then.

great phone, suit my needs. I connect it to my car stereo and its superb sound. if you paired with nokia bh501 headsets, ipod is nothing compare to this. keypads are great, i just bought the phone yesterday and type around 700 sms already.
just buy it and enjoy, music lovers!!!

i brought a 5310 on monday and it has already hang and crash so i went to the store to replace it and on the other day samething happen so i went to the store and replace it again and it has been replace 4x so finally i got fed up and change it to 6300 sorry guys but i think nokia is not yet ready for slim phones
