this phone looks very sporty. i like the 16 million color screen and body color combination. appreciate that nokias are producing slim and light weight phones these days. but if the battery life is like 6300 then this phone is not worth a penny and nokia should look into seriously about power mangement in their models.

The engineers at se are just stupid and those at nokia don't have an idea what they're doing. They all must listen and learn from the great experts who are posting here. lol - the endless wisdom of babyhood!

eww your fight is very childish d:
se is better in music, camera and battery, and its design is also getting better(admit it)
nokia is better in the os and design and nokia's music quality is getting better(admit it)
they have their own bads and goods

Just suggest any single Nokia music phone faliure becoz there is not single music phone failure by Nokia as far as SE there are lots of walkman faliure like w880i/w888i,w950,w710 w300i etc i'm not an SE hater but hate people who always compare SE with every New NOKIA which is not even yet released

This could be one of the best if it wud hav infrared support also. I think its need & trend of time. Other specs are wonderful & price shud be not more than 200 USD with infrared but without it it ........ what can i say. I made my choice to take it but due the missing thing i have change my option

i dont agree with what u have said but i beleave that s.e. is producing remote control type cellulars with the same firmwares for the use of babies ... wheres the " mega bass " daddy ... its in the equalizer preset settings my little one " ha ha ha :-))

Nokia believes that Music is personal and the music one hears shoouldnt disturb the person next to you!!! that y nokia's sound is at the lower side than SE but let me tell you the sound quality is much better on the ear phone it the same case in the camera quality also

yes yes ur exactly right sony and ericsson married together to make the baby phones called " s.e. " and now those baby phones still talk about mp3s and mega bass for many years ... in most s.e. phones the only thing that had been changed is its design (although most look like remote control units for me ... i really respect sony televisions and home stereos thats some other story ...) if mega bass is such an option why is it still hanging around in equalizer preset settings ... im not so blinded when choosing a good phone so those nokias are better for me ... i gave up s.e. but if they improve in the future i might go start buying em again ...

On paper this phone is a perfect choise for me. I've been waiting for one like this! I still have to try it out when it comes to stores but I'm pretty sure I'll replace my old 6230 and my 512Mb MP3 player with this candy bar.

Don't worry, se will come up with a better phone than this, one day. When it happens I'll be a se fan too. In the meantime I'm a nokia fan ;)

All ye Sony Ericcson Walkman series fans..ponder over this..
You are being duped into paying a premium on a badge by Sony. Just take a break from your honeymoon with walkman phones and just have a one night stand with a nokia phone (ex: 6300, 6131). No, I am not even asking ye all to try out the nokia music express phones.
Light of knowledge will dawn on you. Nokia's music function is better than Sony's overhyped W badge.

the only reason why s.e. never wanted to put all those features packed in nokia phones is that they only wanted to make more money making the firmware of every s.e. walkman phone the same . its really good that nokia introduced symbian's which gives the users a better chance to configure and personalize there phones in a better way ... and symbian's support many applications ... actually than those old sony e. w. firmware crap the nokia's symbian features dominates the world ... and when it comes to music nokia got the upper hand cuz it got symbian by there side but not s.e. so that they will always use the same kind of options in there new phones just to make more money ... even motorolas are starting to make history together with linux mobile based o/s ... why iz it that sony ericssons are still sticking to the old firmwares and designs ... i even saw samsung , lg , lenovo , panasonic & simens getting involved in s60 devices but whats wrong with s.e. where r u s.e. why are u still sticking to the old type of firmwares why u dont wanna make new stuff and give users of s.e. phones a better experience why ur still playing the same recordings about ur mega bass and mp3 ... (5700 xm also plays wma now) why am i asking all those from our dear readers lol ? ...
