All ye Sony Ericcson Walkman series fans..ponder over this..
You are being duped into paying a premium on a badge by Sony. Just take a break from your honeymoon with walkman phones and just have a one night stand with a nokia phone (ex: 6300, 6131). No, I am not even asking ye all to try out the nokia music express phones.
Light of knowledge will dawn on you. Nokia's music function is better than Sony's overhyped W badge.

the only reason why s.e. never wanted to put all those features packed in nokia phones is that they only wanted to make more money making the firmware of every s.e. walkman phone the same . its really good that nokia introduced symbian's which gives the users a better chance to configure and personalize there phones in a better way ... and symbian's support many applications ... actually than those old sony e. w. firmware crap the nokia's symbian features dominates the world ... and when it comes to music nokia got the upper hand cuz it got symbian by there side but not s.e. so that they will always use the same kind of options in there new phones just to make more money ... even motorolas are starting to make history together with linux mobile based o/s ... why iz it that sony ericssons are still sticking to the old firmwares and designs ... i even saw samsung , lg , lenovo , panasonic & simens getting involved in s60 devices but whats wrong with s.e. where r u s.e. why are u still sticking to the old type of firmwares why u dont wanna make new stuff and give users of s.e. phones a better experience why ur still playing the same recordings about ur mega bass and mp3 ... (5700 xm also plays wma now) why am i asking all those from our dear readers lol ? ...

I really wonder if either SonyEricsson or Nokia cares about you all. They are just money making machines.
If they really care about the consumer they would have made some descent phones. Not half the good features in this phone and the other good features in that phone..
They just want your money..
wake up and smell the coffee..

this phone should hit the price of 200 USD down to 160-170 just like 5300 did.. or else I'll just upgrade to 5700..

how can u say nokia never beat up the sony e. walkman stuff the n series music editions are good results of nokia's music phones (such as n70 music edition etc.) i can see n series music phones in almost every music lovers hand but sony ericssons i see only two or three ppl holding those in a bus stop once a week thats it ... i dont think s.e. walkman series phones can get near those and now they are way too far left behind with the new xpress music series of nokia ... what people dont like the most about s.e. walkman series phones is that almost every phone comes with the same firmware ... and less support for application and games etc. ...

new 5700 & 5610 & 5310 takes the xpress music series to the top and burns down the fake sony ericsson walkman series to the ground ... these three phones shows u how far nokia can go for a music phone ... u will definitely feel the difference when using one of em ... i was into samsung for this long i used sony ericssons i used motorolas i used lg's but none of those phones can get near my nokia 5700 xpress music sound quality cuz its truely a master piece of music ... peace out ... and long live the xpress music series ...

I've had a Nokia 6100 since Christmas 2002 and it still works fine. Time for a change and the 5310 looks like my choice after nearly 5 years.
