the looks are really cohl but its also true that it has some disadvantages like it doesnt have loud voice in loudspeaker mode but it has excellent voice quality in headphone.....if we put message tone off we are really unable to know if message comes or not cause only menu light flashes.....also have medium photo quality.....neither too bad nor too good photo quality is dere.....display is awesome and really affordable price is dere,memory is also expandable upto 4 GB,,,,,what else you need in such low price!
According to me Though it has some disadvantages , overall Nokia 5530 Xpress Music is awesome!

And One MORE IMPORTANT THING:
The Battery Life is not Good. I used the phone Moderately like listening 4-5 songs through Earphones, 2 songs Through Loudspeaker,transferred Data B/W PC and Mobile for about 30Minutes and then did normal use like opening the menu , etc and setting the options etc, and talked on the phone for around 3 minutes, and thats it the Battery Showed Low Battery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even it is taking 3-4hrs for charging the phone frm Low battery level tp Fully Charged!!!!
Whatz happening with me!!! Please some one help me out!

Even i did FUll CHARGE on the day i bought the phone!

The LoudSpeaker Volume(For Music) is low when u Play the songs outside..Really very Low.Only u can listen that too is there is no Noise beside U. But The Ringtones is Ok.
The Vibration Alert is Moderate , not that much good.!
The camera Quality Really Sucks!!! looks Like a VGA Camera or a CHINA MOBILE PIECE!!! The Video quality is some what ok!
Cost is really High.
Advantages:
1)Good Retail package with 4GB Memory Card, DATA CABLE,Good IN-EAR PHONES(But with a Small DATA CABLE,,Funny thing!LOL)
2)Audio Quality is Excellent through the Ear-phones Provided in the BOX
3)Nice Looks!!! Sexy Looks
4)Touch Sensitivity is Really AWSOME!!! Rocks!!
(I Thought it will have Multi Touch Imput like IPhone,but not there! :(
5)Nice Build Quality
6)Nice Screen Resolution and Display Quality
Disadvantages:
1)Main Disadvantage is the PRICE. (It cost me 11,800Rs in HYDERABAD in INDIA)
2)Poor Camera Quality
3)Low Volume Through the speakers
4)few Bugs are there which are really annoying(Dont know whether it is really a bug or not,related to sms retrieval, i posted about this before this post)
5)Small Screen When compared to 5233/5230/5800.

when i recieve a message the display is not lightning up &is not showing any info until i unlock the phone using the lock/unlock switch..When i receive a message jus t the menu key is lightning..If we put the message tone off, then it is impossible to know whether a message came or no!!!
Please tell me what i can do to come out of this problem.
Even Nokia 5800 is also behaving like this.
(When i recieve a call it is lightning and showing the info like whu is calling..but not showing any info while receiving a message!! Please Help me out!)
please help me...thanks in advance!

i wanna ask u that does it make any difference if the nokia 5530 is made in china or hungary or finland ?
coz there is a perception that quality of the unit which is made in china is different from those of finland or hungary
im plannin to get this fone but a bit confused about the unit whether to get the finland 1 or china

i m really fed up with my cell. as my cell time changes automatically whenever i switch off moreover my all receant calls plus all dialled calls are also earesed whenever i switch off n switch on my cell...
bcoz of this i stopped to switch off my cell bt today my cell was automatically switch off n due to which my all recent calls was deleated and i lost one of the important number... i m really fed up.. i want to change my cell

hi to all i have both both 5530 and 5800 i must say both are excellent fones but after v40 firmware of 5800 it become very smooth and it touch responce become excellent as 5530....beleve me gor for any of them both are good but if u wana gud big screen sound thn 5800 is for u.....

I'm sorry brother, yeah.. as you said that 'rapidshare thing' is not working due to some reason...! Well... Let's try this way then... (But please follow the instruction exactly... OK...?)
You said you've already got a helloOX2 file but you can't install it because an error appears... That's because your helloOX2 is not signed for your mobile... In order to do so, please follow below instructions... (I'm copying and pasting these from someone else... So all the credits should go to him/her...)
1) go to the website,
http://cer.opda.cn/en/index.php?module=index&action=
Click register in the top right corner.
Once registered log in and then click "apply cer" Enter your phones information including the IMEI No etc and click apply.
2) After 48 hours go to the same web page and click log in then click "my certificate"
Now download the certificate (.cer) and save it as "My Certificate.cer"
(You might have to change the extension to .cer)
Similarly download the key (.key) file and save it as "My Certificate.key" (You might have to change the extension to .key)
Now you have your phones .cer and .key files and you're almost done.
3) Now download below link... (for the Sign tool)

And use above two (My Certificate.cer & My Certificate.key) and the copy of HelloOX2 you've got in order to sign the HelloOX2... (When you open the sign tool, you'll realize what to do..)
4) After clicking on 'sign' then command prompt message will come 'Signed Successfully'. Now you can install HelloOX2 in your mobile without any problem... There will not be any error message this time...
5) During installation it'll ask whether to install 'Rom Patcher' you click 'Yes'. After everything is done open the application Rom patcher in your mobile and apply the two patches there...
Everything is done.. Now your mobile is hacked and it's open to a new wonder world...!
Please make sure each time you want to install an application, the patches in Rom Patcher all are 'applied' correctly... (Because once your phone is restarted it'll be unpatched again..)
I checked the above download links and all are working perfectly... So don't worry this time...

sorry for causing any trouble for u brother. but i really donno how to make it. i even tried to download the other helloOX2 from other website but when i try to install in my phone, it shows 'certicicate not allow or kinda of things' .

Oops... I'm sorry brother... As you're a known person than me, I have to accept with what you said... (However I've told, in spite of whether you've followed the instructions carefully, yet there's a probability your phone won't work.. and that's unfortunate...)
Now I'm also beginning to worry... Because I always did firmware updates without any worrying... But if someone like you (who's probably better known than me..) says even if you follow the instructions there's a chance you to screw the things up... Then now I'm in dilemma whether I'll go on with the firmware update of next release...! Because I really like the way it is, my mobile at the moment and I really don't want to screw the things up...
