I'm sorry friend, I really don't know what is the reason for your problem because I just check in my mobile and I could create profiles without any problem. So it seems the problem is particular to your one...
Why don't you try to modify an existing one...? Because those are not 'Read Only' profiles, so that you can modify them as you wish...

I cant send/receive text messages on my 5530 past few days. I tried moving the SIM card to another fone & I was able to send/receive text messages. I put another SIM card to my 5530 & I cant send/receive text messages. I cheked the Message centre number is fine & hav also done the restore to factory settings still no luck. anyone got any idea wat i shud do?

Hi guys i am purchase this phone 5 days ago the phone allover perfect but no document viewer preinstalled you must pay fee for download the quickoffice and adobe reader from ovi store

I bought this phone after trying it out as one of my friends had it on contract and she loved it. aphone is a phone thats what i said to all the ones i ever had but to the 5530 i really think i have got my moneys worth this time and really enjoy useing it from talking to texting Wi-Fi in the house and in townthe camera is cool even for a 3.2 comon what are you looking for a brick like the old days the phones these das are cool and there will always be a better one out next month but in the mean time i love this one

hi! how was the scrolling of 5530? was it the same as 5800? or like iphone? also, has anyone tried reading thru 5530's notepad? if you scroll down how does it appear? per line basis? of the whole page goes up?? because i'll be using the notepad a lot so it's pretty important for me... thanks!!!

Any mobile has its own pros and cons... If you decide a phone is better, that decision clearly reflects your preference and it's a subjective answer..
Here is my subjective answer.
5530 and 5730 both are really cool mobiles.
But I like 5530 better because of the Touch Screen, Higher Screen Resolution, Larger Screen Size, Faster processor, Thin and stylish look, Stainless Steel frame
If I say for the favor of 5730, the sliding qwerty key board, GPS, 3G will come to the list...
However in addition, you better know 5730 is not a very popular mobile in the market due to its slower operation (probably due to slower processor) and cheap plastic build...
My post is of course subjective... But reading the both 5530 user comments here as well as 5730 user comments in that particular page will be helpful for you to decide what you want...

Dear Ali,
I would better suggest buying A 5730XM, if you are looking for a better one.No doubt when compared to 5530 ,5730 rocks..only thing..no touch screen..otherwise..coool phone....

Actually the application name is 'Free i-sms' (Not just i-SMS) It's a very nice application which will enable you to view your SMS as threaded SMS... Im so excited to get my 5530.... haha just dont know when that would be, but definitely soon!

'Screen will not be so sensitive after usage of few months...' What non-sense...! It's not going to happen dear... Don't worry... (I'm using it for 4 months and I don't feel any difference at all... Recently I checked it with a new 5230 and I felt great about my 5530...)

I got it from our regular web site, www.dotsis.com
Or else you can also get it from the original distributor as it's a freeware as far as I know..

Three reasons why you should buy 5530,
1) Damn sexy look (Thin, stainless steel, Touch screen)
2) It's a Smart mobile and you can install so many wonderful stuff...
3) Music quality is just awesome
Three reasons why you shouldn't go for 5530,
1) Poor battery which will not last 2 days with heavy usage
2) No 3G (with secondary camera)

For the other friends in GSMarena, This is my opinion about Cyber-Shot under dog...
Our friend is a mobile phone seller who knows a lot about mobile phones and their capabilities... (At least he knows more than us...) And the most interesting thing is, He holds a 5530 over very nice mobiles out there... Isn't it a fair enough reason why we also should go with that wonderful phone...? (A mobile phone seller can't be wrong guys...! He will always select the best for him... Right...?)

Nokia 5530 Xpress Music has a bit yellowish colored screen... That's common thing... (Not only in Opera Mobile, You will see it in any application if you look carefully comparing to another mobile...) Specially with 5800, you will notice that difference immediately... (Because 5800 has a bit bluish colored screen...)
Personally I find yellowish 5530 screen colors are more appealing...
