I totally agree with Cyber-shot under dog... I did test once in order to check my battery and the result was as follows... (As I recall...)
1) 2 hours of talking (calling)
2) 4 hours of Music
3) Half an hour of Wifi (internet browsing)
4) 20 SMS
With above usage, My phone remained 1 and half days... I personally think that's fair enough for a 1000 mAh battery in a 2.9" screen touch mobile...
With direct sun light, I can't see almost nothing... That's true.. I'm from a tropical country (Sri Lanka) and at day time, the Sun is directly above us... And I don't see anything in my mobile... So I always have to go to a shelter in order to do anything with it... (However this is not a big problem to me, as I'm working in an office at that time... And there I don't have any trouble at all...)

I suppose you're asking about Default web browser...
It has pros and cons... I don't use it though...
Pros: Nice preview feature of history... (Previously visited pages) with kinetic scrolling, Web pages support kinetic scrolling, can play and even save Youtube videos without any problem, Memory low problems have been minimized
Cons: Not so stylish or user friendly as Opera mobile, No tab browsing, Flash support on web pages are not so great (But acceptable), Web pages are kind of mobile optimized (We don't feel we're surfing web like in a computer)
However if you're searching for a good web browser then 'Opera Mobile' is just awesome application which is used by thousands of mobile users... It has so many great features... Stylish look... Full web page loading (yet faster...).. Kinetic scrolling works like a charm... Flash contents in web pages are acceptably playing... Wonderful tab browsing.. Fully touch optimized.. Password manager, Block pop-ups features... etc...
'Skyfire' also is good but it still needs more improvements... Cons of Skyfire are, it requires more memory (Not enough memory error may appear), Web page visibility has some problems, Not yet fully touch optimized... Pros are Perfect flash support.. (Even better than opera mobile) Even highest quality flash contents are played...
Both above 'Opera Mobile' and 'Skyfire' are free applications... Do a little google search and you will find them...

I have a Nokia which I purchase January 2010 and this phone is giving me hell. I am still wondering why after one (1) month this phone is giving me all this trouble? I can't receive calls and answer without it shutting down. Have anyone here had this problem? Seriously, I will like to find away to fix this phone because i really like it.

I am thinking of getting this phone or the nokia 5230 but the diffence in prices betwwen the phones is only $100 so which one is better??

but seems like i have to be more patient, because in my place this phone is temporary unavailable. Rumors said that it's for increase the N5230's market level.
i hope this phone is worth for that, so i'll wait it..

coul... moreI have used this phone for 4 months and itamera is very nice.
Good reasons:
Battery life very long
Loud sound
Screen does not get scratched easily
Bad reasons:
No 3G
No Secondary camera
for the bad reasons its only 2
and for the battery life it lasts about a week

Hi everyone,
Im being faced by the difficult choice between the nokia 5800 and the 5530. I feel the lack of 3G will be quite disadvantagous to me as im currently using a nokia N81 and the speed when using 3G is amazing. But the 5530 is new and fresh and i like the build quality and the design, as its absolutely spectacular. The 5800 may be outdated but it has 3G. . .and everyone is talking about the poor touch response on the hardware. If any of you had to make this decision, what would you go for? Thanks

2. phone with great music capabilities
3. a lot of things you can do, because it's a smart phone
why you shouldn't buy
1. camera sucks
2. there a lot of OS's out there that is better than this (s60 touch is just average)
3. a lot of bug needs to get fixed

coz I want to buy this, but since it's touchscreen i'm affraid it has a lot of risk..

BaaZziGaR, 06 Mar 2010Hey Nuwan... plz temme s0methn abt d br0wser 10x in advance...browser, isn't really stable it some times crashes (resulting of automatically closing the browser) kinetic scrolling is present here so it's great, but not the best though. . . but you can get 3rd party browser, like opera mini. . .
