Dear nuwan,
When i call through head phones if i press and hold it unmute button only i can hear the voice of others if i remeve my finger iam unable to hear please help

I bought this phone 1 month ago and I dont have any problem with phone. This phone is worth to buy, nice speaker, nice design, the price is also reasonable...

Hi Nuwan and others, i wanna know from where can i download quick office and pdf reader. i also want to download themes but the message comes expired certificate despite i have put off certificate checking in installation settings.
You guys r helping a great lot. keep it up!!!!

Nuwan one more thing, how to disconnect the phone after the data is transferred from the pc, because there is no option to do so.

Hi Nuwan,
I bought this phone a week back, it worked fine till last night...the problem is, i am unable to install any application or theme on my phone.
I tried installing it from the memory card but no success, i do not get any error on phone, it is just that nothing happens...when i try to install from Ovi suite it gives me error 2148532241
Also let me know about soft and hard reset...

Ok after much waiting, i got this phone from NPD Jayanagar, bangalore @ 11.6k after much bargain.
phone is good, except for some irritating issues :(
1. screen lock key rattels, thats very bad!
2. back cover is pathetic :( its so thin, and it creeks when u type on the screen. it wobbles if u tap on the back cover ..... very bad, lookig if there are any spare covers sold for 5530!
3. need very delicate hands for inserting sim/memcard!

I bought this phone recently i have problem with wh-205 head set provided. when i listen to songs i can hear it but when i call i cant hear any thing in my ear phones i tried by selecting all the options ike headset line out headphone music satnd.
please tell me how to use it can we detach the headphone in to two pieces.

I'm doing great brother... How about you...? You're bit silent these days...
I don't know about hot-mail, but for yahoo we can download any sort of attachment... I actually don't use my mobile to see my mail accounts... But just to check whether it's capable of doing so, for you I did it and a wmv video file was downloaded successfully... (Download speed is pretty fast... Just like my laptop does...)
But I don't know about play back.. If wmv file is a low quality one, then it will be played in your mobile.. Powerpoint files and other office files will be opened if you've got QuickOffice installed...
I used Opera mobile for this thing... May be you're using the default browser... Try opera mobile... If it doesn't help... Then get rid of the hotmail and make a yahoo account...!

Thanks brother for your correction... Yeah... within 60 seconds.. That's the problem.. I sometimes remove my sim but I don't really know whether I inserted it within 60 seconds... I guess not.. That should be the problem then.. right...? (Because I always get that message to insert the date and time...)
There's one more thing... Most service providers supply the service of auto update date and time of your mobile... If that is activated, then even though you let the time and date to be as default after a while they will be re corrected by the SIM together with the service provider itself...

This is the worse phone I have ever had. It is obviously a defective product. It turns on and off for no reason. Sometimes in the middle of a phone call. My phone bill has increased at least three times since buying this phone. My husband has the same phone and the same problems. These phones actually dial by themselves. A friend called saying I called her and the phone was sitting on the counter! I sent the phone in and they sent me another one. But I am having the same problems, even worse. I call customer service at Nokia and I get the same response from everyone-send it in and we'll see. I want a refund for this defective product, not another defective product!!!

Whenever u remove ur battery and isert another SIM,it will ask for date & time but if u pass without correcting it then after some while when u insert your own SIM, it will never ask for date and time.It means date and time have been cemosed in that SIM which u have identified by ur system.Again when u remove ur battery and do not remove ur SIM it will never ask for date and time.But u have to insert ur battery within 60 second.

Thanks bro for the help again...but on my N81,it's different because the real time is still there after i insert back again the battery.
I hope Nokia will also pay attention on this issues on their upcoming models.
