ritesh, 01 Feb 2010I have paid Rs 13500 in Bangalore for this phone. I bought ... morewhich part of bangalore, i chked Jayanagar NPD, said 13k, but with default headphone. 13k is still expensive man.

I guess you're talking about messaging option called "threaded view" (Simply said, just like in iphones)
You don't have to go that for for that facility..
Try "Free i-sms" software which is of course a Freeware and it will make you feel like you're using an i-phone when you're messaging...!
Works like a charm in my 5530 (Though there are modifications I would personally suggest the developers...) However as a freeware, it's totally a wonderful application...

You're asking a common question that I have answered so many times before... Actually why are you guys being so lazy to navigate few more pages and find out more details by yourself...? Sometimes I really am unable to imagine why...!
OK... Here is the answer...
Music quality wise both phones are very competitive... The characteristics are very very close in each category.
Frequency response, THD both phones are similar (very small difference)
Noise 5800 wins
Stereo cross talk 5530 wins
Overall, I bet you wouldn't notice much of a difference in both phones if you use same earphones, same song and same person to listen to it...!

Hi everyone,,
just bought this beauty from Pondicherry (160kms south of chennai)for Rs 11,600
had my hands for just 2 hrs now,,, cant take my hand out of it... still exploring
Am just loving it!!!

I have paid Rs 13500 in Bangalore for this phone. I bought from Nokia priority. they have also given me Sennheisser headset. People who own this also got sennheisser PMX60 with this phone???

Thanks for that, do you have to choose 5800 or is there now a 5530 option for ovi maps? I'm going to buy this phone next week so was just wondering if the maps worked. What sort of memory does everyone use on this phone, anyone planning to or already have 16gb micro SD?

I am using this model of mobile. Interesting to use this mobile. But, i don't know would i like to see video confernce or not to see that.
