since my 5220 keyboard broke down i decided to buy another phone.5530 got my eye!i ve ordered it today,cant wait to get it in my hands!

Hi everyone!!!
Only yesterday I enquired some mobile shops but not nokia priority dealers about 5530 and they knew nothing(how sad!!!!).Is it available in eastern india? I can't wait any longer.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i checked with nokia priority dealer, and he said it shd be available in max 1 weeks time. but 5230 is already available so 5530 shd be soon, as i see ad displays for both 5230/5530 in phone shops.

5530 is a smart phone not a cellular phone.So its usual to suck battery after doing all d smart things.I browses net 2 hours a day + 4 hours music using headphone + games&applications & for dis I have to charge daily.I think its normal with 2.9" screen.D games it supports must suck a lot battery.I think u all should take it normal if u all can think using ur brain!!!

Happy new year to all.I think we all who love this 5530 lovely phone can leave talking about the so called problems of this.And also can make this popular in gsmarena by visiting 5530 in this site atleast 10 times a day.I think we all will love that.

luisito, 03 Jan 2010well if you want to take pics wit low light exposure and wi... moretoo much sharpness means more noise . . thats y agressive noise reduction algorithm loses details. I adjust the exposure compensation lower,plus with medium iso or sometimes highest but not with my hands and putting it with soft.. light set to on.. thats what i do with ny settings at the dark.. works ok.. but somtims closeup photos ar burned(subjects are too bright) yeah SE turned but recently planning to buy c901 as my replacement wid k800i

Happy New Year 2 everybody.I got this beautiful phone in white&pink flowery etching on back as well as pouch.It is very feminine.Battery life doesnt last long,2 days but that is ok.The only problem I had was anwering calls,u have 2 get the hand of resistive touch screen cause it is not as responsive as capacitive..Stop being negative about this phone& enjoy using it cause there is no perfect phone.

i bought 5530...3 weeks ago. since the battery easily drains, i gave it back to nokia customer service. its been there for 5 days now. so i called the nokia customer service again in mall, they answered me that there were 2 electronic parts to be replaced. i bought it mall but then fault still occured.

Can you please explain that to me...?
And could you please go to below path,
Settings - Personal - Profiles - (The profile you're using say 'general') - Personalize - Touch screen vibration
Please make sure above 'Touch Screen Vibration' is set to 'Off'
Then kindly check whether you have your wobbling back cover effect anymore...

Regarding your first question please read my answers for "Jean". That will clear any problem you have about the battery life.
For your second question about the camera,
For me, Camera Sucks for still pictures...
But it's excellent for Video Recording... (You can even make a movie out of it... Great wide screen video recordings at 30 fps...)
But both still photos and video recording suck in low light conditions... If you want to create a movie using 5530 then don't forget to emit any indoor scenes in your film...! (On the other hand as a Nokia 3.2 MP camera it's fairly decent... But don't compare Nokia 3.2 MP still pictures with SE 3.2 MP still pictures... Regarding camera Nokia is easily overwhelmed by SE... Ask from our friend Cyber-Shot under dog for more details... He knows better)
For your last question...
No... There are no any major problems... For me.. Not at all... I'm really in love with this beauty and have no complains... (But this is my personal idea... I don't know what you'd think about this mobile when you touch it..) You'll have to use it by yourself...
(Don't forget to update your firmware.. When I said 'I don't have no troubles at all' that of course after the firmware update..!)

One more thing dear friend,
The people who complain about short battery life, I think they are so exited about the sexy look of the phone and want to stay in touch with it all day long...! So without even their knowledge, they are using it... (For an example, when you buy a phone, specially a very good looking sexy phone like this, you'll always want to navigate through the menus and all... And it'll not be boring to you for the first most days of you with your new phone...! It's not a wonder, if you feel the short battery life during those days...)
Remember, if your screen is always on means it drains your power considerably without your notice.. When it has a 2.9 inch big scree, it's reasonable that a 1000 mAh battery won't last long...
