Guys h0w much is ur 5700,mine i b0ught this ar0und $128 5,500pes0s here in the philippines but 2ndhand,last march 29,2008.ive swap my n91 to 5700 and add 500pes0s.bundled wth 2gb sandisk,usb cable and hs 28 headset(i only pr0vide l0cal adapt0r f0r 2.5mm sl0t).but because it is 2ndhand,it cant swtch to mirr0r m0de,when i twst the cam facing me,n0thng happens,and when i twist to music m0de,it d0esnt open the player,instead,the camera is opening,so i must go to music menu 1st to c0ntr0l and enter the player,wats the pr0blem?ribb0n or cable twsting fact0r of the ph0ne?but inspite of ths,5700 makes me smile,

@ EVEYONE PLZ HELP
i was listeining to music last night in LCG JUKEBOX 2.17 i heard some flat vioce then it gave error a i dont know what it was i closed the application and i got app sound closed and others then i deleted juke box and listened the same song in my media player the sound was double ... can any one tell me whats the problemm plzzzzzzzzzz help

Nope!!!! It doesn't has autofocus. On the whole, it is a overall good performer.

i have been browsing in the web and i see nokia 5710 it looks like the 5700 but the color of it is black.. i would like to buy one of the nokia 5710 is it approved yet?

Well, I would be a liar if I told you that v4.21 makes the phone louder because I don't have it in my phone. I'm stuck with v3.27 (my phone is the American version which hasn't the v.3.83 or 4.21 available) You can ask to other people if they experience louder sound but I doubt. Maybe the difference would be on headphones.
On speakers it sounds loud but are phones like N73, 3250, W550/600 which I heard too and are louder. , but anyway this phone is great. I don't regret to buy it.
About the video watching experience I think it's very good thanks to the bright display (not as large as N73 but brighter). You can watch videos without problems from a distance of 30cm, even 1 meter ( I was watching a music video right before the post and it looks fine from that distance)

I got your point. The point is that you weren't comparing this phone in loudness before your last post. You only said that it wasn't loud. For that reason I wasn't agreeing with you. But now that you compare it with N73, D900, etc. you are very right.

When i say that speakers are not loud i am actually considering N73 ,6270 or similiar phones from other brands like D900.
5700 is not louder than these phones but has depth in its sound.

hey guys!! hii!!
I am thinking of buying this phone for music purposes and some general purpose stuff, so I've got some queries. I'll be glad if you could help,
1.)Is there any resident problem in 5700 in terms of construction??
2.)How long the the phone last in music mode??
3.)Can I create my own themes if I want to??
4.(Imp!) So does Symbian OS allow unsigned software to be installed???

Yes this phone has the option of favorites, so you can store web pages as your PC, actually aditya wrote how to check the firmware, only scroll some posts down.
To the landscape mode I use the Opera Mini 4.1 because the Nokia OSS browser hasn't this feature present in 5700 (or I haven't found it yet).
About the speakers I don't agree with aditya. They are loud enough, louder than most of the phones in the price category (tehy are slightly louder than the mono speaker of 5200 & 5300) and are clear enough.
