I prefer the 5700 joystick. I never had issues with nor my friends. It's slippery only whet your hands are sweat, but in normal conditions is fine. It's a very precisse joystick, it's very unusual to select another command with it. I was skeptical at first because I had bad experiences with another mobiles like Siemens C65 and SE K700 because its bad joystick, but now I have a totally different opinion with my 5700.
About N73's joystick I have never experinced, but I have heard people complaining about it because they say taht it's fragile and tends to break, but I'm not sure. The 5700 is a very rough joystick is made of metal, so it's very durable.

Adil,
you are technically correct but practically it is not possible to install many apps in phone memory, so you have to install it on card.
like in my case I have around 55 games and 20 apps installed in my phone.
One more thing N95 is dual processor i.e. two cpu of 332 Mhz.

One of the best phone Nokia 5700...specially Processor speed (ARM 11 369 MHz processor)is Better then N95 mobile (ARM 11 332 MHz processor).
its run always very fast on the phone memory. i have installed every new application.if u face any kind of problem in this phone then just update its firmware from the www.nokia.co.uk/softwareupdate website. then u never face any kind of problem.my suggestion is always use phone memory instead of memory card.and instal everything on memory card for fastest msging use phone memory

This link has a detailed discussion for 5310 and 8GB. It seems it supports 8gb but unofficially. In case u r planning to buy one i suggest u to either wait for some time or else buy a 4gb.

type *#0000# on ur phone for its version.
I sugggest u to first check whether this phone is available at ur place. availability is rare now days in Delhi. and in such case all ur research will go in vain. u can store pages, fullscreen is there. music is not loud.

if you are from india than first check whether this phone is available at all. Availability of this phone is very rare now days.
Why I am asking you for this is because ur all research will go in vain if this model is not available.

regarding 5310, I am not sure but a little search on internet suggest that it supports 4gb card and no evidence for the support of 8gb is found.

All the new 5700s should support the 4gb micro sd without problems because they have the newest firmware so you won't have problems with those cards. My phone is V3.27 (there are two newer versinos available for other 5700s) and mine supports with no problems the 4gb card.

The other speaker is located on the upper section of the phone on the left side (above the volume buttons).
About the browser, yes it can handle HTML pages with no problems, it has JAVA and flash too so the pages look very well. Unfortunately it doesn't have landscape mode, for that you can install the Opera Mini 4.1 browser, it has very good quality too but with the advantage of landscape viewing mode. Yes you can send text messages for example without close the browser cause this phone has full multitasking. Any other question??

JOystick is good. Yes, it feels a lil bit hard to use at the begining, but you get used to. At least it's hard but it doesn't break like other joysticks, so it's very durable. For the games like fifa, splinter cell, and every game you want to play you should use the numeric keypad, is much better.

last week I decided to buy a 5700 and yesterday I went a nokishop.I tried 5700.It was very fast and ıts display was perfectt.I haven't heard its sound yet.on the other hand Its joystick was hard on beginning but after it didn't matter.Yet sometimes when I tried to scroll up,joystick misunderstood me and go in the file(1 of 5 attempt).what about you men?Will it be a problem on playing game,or will it be soft and correct by using,or 5700 of yesterday was 2nd hand is it the problem?plz help me.I dont want to miss this phone only for this joystick...

you can do these things with operamini, default browser supports fullscreen but no landscape mode is there.

I answered this in previous post. If things are not clear than answer is while browsing if u make a call, internet connection will hault temporarily and will resume after the call ends. Browser will remain open unless u close it.

yes it does, in fact it support scripting too and work great as a phone browser. But do not expect it to open files with swf files or play video in browser.

That sounds too good dear. :-)
Its my turn to clarify things,
No body is paying me for these posts. its probably because I have unlimited internet access 24 X 7 and I always feel good in solving queries. Be it personal queries of friends or technical queries of my clients(I am a SSE in a Software Org.) or queries regarding 5700. I am not abusing any brand, I am simply resolving the queries I am capable of and related to a gadget which I possess.
