I was bought this mobile and it's very nice beacuse it contain all i need and it's voice is very cool .I advice who want nice mobile to bye it.

thanks for your response. In few shops, I found nokia 5700 phone that is made in hungary and I have no question on these. But there are couple of nokia 5700 phone in the market that are made by nokia but no country name. If I am not wrong, nokia 5700 which is lebeled 'Made by Nokia' (no country name), is come from India. My question - is there any difference in quality between the two categories of phone i.e. one is clearly lebeled 'Made in Hungary' and another is 'Made by Nokia'. Nokia 5700 which is made in hungary is around $15 higher than that of others.

Hi everybody,
I have upgraded to 3.83.1 firmware and the phone has really stabilised. The few glitches it had earlier (occasional hanging, restart and slow UI in some menu items like opening themes) has been removed. I had a talk with Nokia India guys (they had called me in response to my email about not providing firmware upgrades to all 5700) who said that officially 3.83.1. When asked about 4.21 they could not clarify and simply told that 4.21 is not official. I also could not find any NOKIA site which showed 4.21 as latest firmware. Now what the hell is 4.21. If it is official then why Nokia is not providing as updates in their sites. If it is unofficial then how Nokia care has upgraded firmware to 4.21 (Take the case of Sanju). Can anybody detail in this matter.

Hello people!
Is BP-5M the only battery suitable for 5700? It's because it only has 900Mah. Can a higher capacity battery be used for this? Just wanna ask.
And one more thing, when is N78 gonna be available in the Philippines? And how much is it going to be? Any wild guesses or facts?

hello brother .as u say that if there is distortino is existed than it must be realised in phones speakers too . so for that i have told to u that distortion is not heared by me in speakers of phone but it is not able for us to compare the speaker quality with head phone or earphone. can u please help me on this topic plzzzzz.

i think this phone is so cool it has all the trends and attachment that you have nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo problem with this value piece of equipment.This phone has bluetooth and infared red port,you don't want nothing better than that of course,so to anyone that is reading i would say go and get this phone,it is very compatable and lovely to carry with you and you can listen to your music as well for comfort and relaxsation,bye and enjoy.

There is some polemic about the problem with firmware v4.21 but I don´t think you´ll have problems if you take your 5700 to a Nokia center to get the update. I think the problem is when you try to update your phone via PC because the people that got problems downloaded the v4.21 from another web page (not property of Nokia) and this can be dangerous because you don´t know if the software is OK. So is better to take your phone to Nokia care. I don´t have that version, I still have v3.27 cause the nearest Nokia center is 70 miles away and I don´t trust on the link that someone posted below

Some days ago someone asked the same question. In fact Nokia n81 and 5700 are two phones of different class. Both in performance and speed 5700 and n81 are almost equal because the same OS and processor but n81 has 96mb of ram if I´m not wrong, wi-fi and dedicated gaming keys because the n-gage platform.
The diference is in sound quality where n81 ranks higher for louder speakers and a great sound quality that is a must for a high end music phone. 5700 isn´t bad, has great quality too and even better with other headphones but the difference in price between n81 and 5700 is big so for that reason 5700 is a good deal.

hi to all. i love this fone. but there are some problems with it. one is that the pixiles of the camrea are not good. and the picture is not quite clear in ordinary light, but quite good in sunlight. second is a question about casing that if it can be replaced or not.
plz answer it.

For such scenarios only, I purchased my handset from themobilestore(India), they give an additional warranty that within 2 days if any manufacturing defect is found, mobilestore will replace it with new handset without any question ask.
I hope you'll enjoy this phone.

hey i bought this phone on 25/02/08 and there was a problem with the phone, the camera wasn't working,i took it back to them on 26/02/08 and and today i went back and they told me they changed the whole camera, hello people i used the phone for less than 1hr and i found the problem,and i just went through a big episode with the phone agent i wanted a new phone, but anyways people know who ur buying phones from and ur warranty, what it states, but this phone is good i guess but after my problem my mind`s broken about it
