Hay , i wana buy nokia 5700 but i have a confusion. Can u plz tell me that is it possible to change the casing??? i mean is there any option to change the casing or not? I have visited many sites to see its review but i couldnt find the answer of my question.

hello to all 5700 users .plz help me all the users i am in trouble is that after updateing my 5700 firmware 4.21 i realize that when i am listining music in ear phone or head phone nokia hs-16 the sound taht comes out is noisy and also with lot of distortion did other those who have this sw version 4.21 have also realize same .i was aslo tryed it on my frnds 5700 there is also same problem after update by vesion 4.21 thats why i think that nokia raise the sound pitch of 5700 beyond its boundry plz all of u users of 5700 please give attention on sound quality . if it is true than it is be very serious problem for all of us 5700 users because this is the phone which main lead for music . plz help me frnds its great trouble for me reply fast plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.i wants all of 5700 users review on music quality they experienced in version 4.21 .thanks plzzzzzzzz reply

when i switch off my mobile phone and turn it on it does not my memory card them i have to reove my memory card and again i hav to put it there and it works fine but can anyone help me why does it do that i have 80 mb free out of 970mb

wow.. you've got lots of songs there. did it slow down when u used 4gig? or is it still as fast as when ur using 512mb microsd (i suppose that's what is included in ur phone when u bought it)? thanks.

im from phil too.. i bought my mobile last month and cost was P11,000 at v-mall in greenhills. i guess the unit now would cost around P10k-10,500. but some distributors might charge higher for the phone since this is a difficult model to find nowadays.

headset included in the unit is just ok.. not that clear, just a bit bassy. but if your going to use senn earbuds, schure, or a4tech.. the sound would be superb.

I just dropped by Nokia Store in Robinson's Galleria yesterday and 5700's price is P12,180.00.
My 5700's days are numbered as I'm waiting for N78 to arrive!
With N78, it can support up to 8GB (or possibly more) microSDHC, it has standard 3.5mm audio port, fm transmitter, 3.2 auto-focus camera and some more goodies not found in 5700.
But my 5700 really is the best (so far).
I'm using a 4GB microSDHC filled with 1113 songs, music videos, not so much pictures and applications. I browse the internet with it. I download stuff so fast.
It satisfies me greatly and I'm so proud owning such a nice performing handset.

My phone’s firmware is 3.27 is this the latest one?
I downloaded it from the nokia Europe web site it show 3.27.
Please advise on this.

About your 'packet data' question, of course, the subscriber has to pay for it whenever there's internet access.
I'm a Smart subscriber and whenever I browse the internet, it only charges me P10 per 30 minutes. Regardless of what website you visit. I'm not charged per kilobyte per minute or something. I think it's Globe who's doing it. Smart's services are seamless and mobile internet connectivity is so smooth.

Im don with nokia my 5700 gave me so much popblems that i gave to my sister and went out and got a samsung u700 and it is awsome much better than nokia

Dont worry about the joystick.. its fine.. no problem with it.. back then, i was just like you, i was very worried about the phone's navigation, which is the joystick (since i had previous experience with my 6600 that keeps on hanging and very faulty joystick). But with this phone, there is no trouble with it, the joystick worked perfectly. had this phone for about 4 months now, so i suggest you buy this phone. its truly one magnificient phone.
