i got this phone a couple of weeks ago and it is by far the best phone that i have ever had. the music player has great sound quality and the camera is great
the only complaint that i have is the joystick. it is pretty annoying for the first little while but then you get used to it
this is a great phone and i would recommend it to anybody

I saw the unit last month and its sporty design and audio have impressed me. At the malls it sells between 13T to 14T at installment payment plan but all stores where I went to have no stocks. I know this would sell at a much lower price when paid in cash from other retailers. Can anybody tell me where can I purchase this unit at the cheapest price? Guys, please post the price of your 5700 and the store where you got it.

my frnds says that phone will become slowly, hangs everytime with this card ,is it right?

finally i have bought this fone yesterday and it's great! i cant say anything about the speakers.. it's the clearest speakers ive ever heard on a phone. 5700 beats n73, n95 or 6120c.. hands down. very fast phone indeed.. no lags.. no lumps.. no bumps, whatsoever.. my only complain is the joystick (bec this is my 1st fone that has a joystick) but i think it'll just need some getting used to. but overall, i'll rate this fone 9.5 of 10. cheers!

to sanju.....thanx frien...but whenver i go to nokia site for firmvare update it shows that my 3.27 version needs no update....3.83 is not fr this code.....is it bcoz of region (india) or somthng else....or it says upgrade it anyways.....what should i do....plz guide me further....

To The Ashes Of Manila-- So you are rocking with your 5700 xpress music with a 4gb card ? Well , i would have joined you in this fun , but unfortunately , my handsets firmware is on 3.27 and its got quite a number of problems ( during phone calls other person cannot hear my voice , occasional restarts , hangs atleast once in a day , multiple items when marked cannot be sent at a once from gallery to desired folder ). And , i am trying to update my handsets firmware to v.3.83 , through the nokia website , but in vain. I am being shown that i am on the latest firmware. So , now after reading ur post , even i have decided to go for nokia care centre and get my handsets firmware upgraded. And , i hope nokia people wont say me that my handset is already on the latest firmware !! Anyways , thanks for your reply. Cheers !

To Sukhi-- Yeah Sukhi. Even i am facing this problem. Most of the times ,when i receive a call , the other person cannot hear my voice. And approximately if i make 10 calls per day , i face this problem for nearly 4 to 5 calls. And its not only you and i , but there are many other users , who are facing this problem. So , i hope this problem and a whole lot of minor problems would be solved in the next firmware upgrade ( v. 3.83 ). Currently my handsets firmware is v.3.27. So , try to upgrade ur handsets firmware and lets hope the problem will be solved.

i bought 5700 5 months back
i have one problem with that
frequently this happens-when i receive or make calls i can hear the otherside voice but my voice cannot be heard by them
immediately i switch off and on the cell
then it works fine
again after sometime same problem...plz tell me if anyone have this kinda problem......

Hi there!
As for Sanju, actually I got my 5700's software updated courtesy of a Nokia Care Center here in Quezon City, Philippines.
I brought my phone there because one day back in November my phone's screen just became blank all of a sudden. Though I'm not using it heavily.
When it got fixed after 3 days, it was working well. Nothing's really changed since my 5700 performs fast and seamlessly.
I just noticed that its' firmware was updated to v.3.83.1.
From then on, I planned to use a 4GB microSDHC. And the first time I used it with my 5700...wow! It's still fast. I thought it would run slowly, but, there you go! Nothing but pure mobile enjoyment. From having 596 songs on a 2GB card, I now have 813 (at 128kbps) plus about 30 videos downloaded from youtube.
My idea of switching to N81 8GB didn't become a reality yet. My 5700 is so full of fun!

This is such a great phone!
Its great..but whenever i try to install software to the memory card, it always tells me "Certificate Error: Contact the application supplier" during installation.
It intalls in the phone memory, but why doesnt it install to the memory card?

heelo guys vikremen kk here plz by nokia 5700 it"s cool,it"s ram is more than n73. but it"s camera is not good as n73.its ok it soounds is very good .

currently nokia 6233 connecting speeed of net is 460.8kbps.. whethwer this speed is exceeded by 5700 this mobile or not..
plz frnz i dont know anybody here who using this,so pls clear all my doubts..if those things clear na surely i ll thankful to all of u.. im waiting frnz..
