i've tried this fone awhile ago and i was really amazed at 1st how bright and lively the screen display is. 2nd wud be the speakers. it's remarkable.. very crisp and solid sound. and if ur concerned abt the bottom twisting part, it's very sturdy. i assure u it's not going to break unless u drop it or intend to dismantle it. hehe.. i think im gonna buy this fone over 6120c. i like my sounds a bit louder than what 6120c can offer. unless i get a good offer from someone selling an n95. hahahaha! cheers guys!

either u dont know about this phone or ur just being funny ... pressing the red key to dc a call wont give any problems and there are 1000's and millions of themes for this model which runs on s60 3rd edition symbian ... who knows maybe u have got a fake version of this phone ...

Everythings perfect for this phone but just 2 things i need to mention plz do not press the red hanging call button as the phone would easily hang so do use the back button n this phone cannot use any themes other than the preloaded ones the music is impresssive

Video calling is supported but in europe only. Because this phn works on umts 2100. 1900 is for americas. And there is also a non 3g version with gsm 850 900 1800 and 1900 only

By the way i am looking for these in v3.83. Camera takes better pictures , night mode shows no white dots on pictures taken , loudness option works and louder audio play back.

Can anyone with firmware V3.83 tell me their product code. Its a 7 digit number on the label under the battery. Mine is 0514785 and there is no update yet 4 dis code. Just type *#0000# to get your firmware. Mine is V3.27

hi guys.... I have been a fan of nokia symbian series all my life...n this phone is nothin short of a winner...its a feature rich phone for a very reasonable price...u can buy this little beauty without thinkin twice...am curious to know one thing...has anybody dropped this phone.!! N wat was it like?...also wats the latest firmware....is it 3.83?

I have this phone from 2 months now.
I compared it with the 5300 new firmware installed phone. What I got is, 5300
Gives powerful sound with the new firmware and good bass too. It fills my ear with sound. It’s much more than this 5700.
And 5700 sound quality is not enough for me (bass and loudness). I expected more from this phone. I’m expecting that nokia will improve the sound quality on next firmware.
But anyway this 5700 is a great phone, and I love this phone, itz fast & good featured one. I recommend this one for who wants to buy a good phone.

in my country today the mobitel telecom introduced a new sim card in there head branch and it was telecasted on tv ... one of the most amazing sim card services was introduced here today a sim card and a connection that provides internet , high speed 3g , email , sms , mms etc. and u can also watch most of the tv channels in our country using ur phone u can upload download movies in high speed u can connect ur phone to pc and use the fast internet connection on ur pc , it also enables an option where u can see everything through ur surveillance camera at home or office using ur phone when ur anywhere around the country ... plus there are more options ... the wonderful thing is in there introduction to the television the phones they used are 5700 xpress music , n70me and s.e. p990 ... when viewing television channels through those phone displays i was surprised on how the 5700 performed it was amazing didnt give any slow downs to the video ... and in the s.e. p990 sometimes it started to give slow downed videos and sometimes it started to show green big lines in display which is probably a reaction of the video getting slow down ...

i don't know how i can compare a k 850 with a 5 mp with just a normal firmware & a n 5700 xm with a 2 mp camera and a powerful symbian ...

why is it that I cant update my 5700 to version 3.8? im still with the 3.27, and the software tells me its the latest. Is there another way to update it? tnx
