i tried a4tech headphones with my 5700 and the sound was great , bombastic , amazing , cant express it in word bass was at its top and sound was much clearer in fact i am listening songs now with a4tech amazing
now my opinion about earphones came with my 5700 are now that they suck they are no match for 5700 xpress music

how can i check firmware update on nokia (europe) site cause its asks for product code but my phone has item number, ic number, fcc id , type what should i type in the box ...
my phone came with v 3.83.1 v

my opinion about nokia 5700:
SOUND: very clear but not sooo loud but loud for me.bass not good but can get use to it
PICTURE: very very clear superb no flaws
BATTERY LIFE : i use this phoen daily to listen 2 hours of music minimum and send 10 sms call for about 25 mins and use net for 45 mins and out of 7 dots 3 remains until i charge it to full SO in conclusion ENOUGH FOR ME
CAMERA : its intersting i like it even though the picture at night are not good but good its enogh for me we are not photographers
EAR PHONES : totaly poor except for 3.5mm adpter.
CHARGER: small and powerful
DATA CABLE : as usual good
IN END ITS A GRAET PHONE OR U CAN SAY THAT ITS TREMENDUOUS

5700 is a great phone it has a few flaws other thn dat its very gud... loads of functions for its price ! previouly i owned a w800i compared to dat its sound is much louder buh its sound quality in headphones is not dat gud its much more clear buh it lacks bass... buh dis prob can be solved if u use earphones of sonyericsson ... thn comes da camera emmm it isnt as gud as w800i's or w810's coz of da autofocus but dan these phones are not symbian ... da display is very clear much clearer thn dat of n73 overall its a very very gud phone ... buh my main concern is da battery life, u av to charge it every second day and if u send abt a 50 messages and listen to songs thn u av to charge it every day dis is da main prob wid dis phone ... if u dun av a prob wid chargin it every day thn go for it, its da best phone dat u can get for da money u r payin for it

Really disapointed with this phone. The build quality is poor and battery life is short. The keys have started to fall off as well. Thinking of replacing with a W580i any comments?

I got this phone two weeks ago because I need some entertainment to past my boredom. Before I decide to buy this phone, I was thinking of MP3/MP4 player, a camera, a handheld game device & a new phone with 3G capabilities. I was using the Nokia 1100 before & wow did I find all of this in Nokia 5700 & more because I can also browse the Internet anytime. What a way to past the time! The sound is great & clear. I can hear every detail of a song. Nice display. If some critics always say its bulky well its not, best battery time .. , or better you wait for OLED to be release before you buy any phone. Nokia keep up the great work. One satisfied customer here.

Were can i download a free flash lite application for my phone.And is the new firm ware out already. Picture quality and sound quantity needs improvement.Ihope this is available in the new firmware.

It's good fone but i can't make a decision to buy it or 5610 ......... 5610 has a 3.2 MPX camera and the sound quality is very very good better than n73 ........... please help to make a decision.......thank you....

i've been using this for a month now, almost perfect for me... good music quality with two built in speakers.. blue tooth & infrared for our photo business, and it's USB 2.0 is plug and play no more installer, for data, photo and music transfer.. in any pc's guys..., and last week some stores here in Metro manila, had run out of stocks of this model... the only thing i don't like is it's bundle headphones, its design kind sucks my wax out from my ears hehehe... so i bought another superior headphones from sony... and that's i enjoy more of my music.. it's color & design is unique from most cellphones sporting business look...

hey guys. I just wanna warn you, recently bought 5700 -less than a week ago- and so far I am very disappointed with the battery life of the phone. I have to charge the phone every 2 days. I even tried not to use and listen music and check how long it last in stand by mode. I just left it and saw it only lasted little over 2 days. I have to warn you be careful with the phone battery life. If you wanna charge it like I have to now every 2 days be my guest and buy it. But so far I dont recommend the phone. Even if other features are ok what is to buy if I have to charge it like this. Battery life of this phone sucks badd.. Dont buy unless they find a solution for the battery life problem.
