    pay attention to d minimum PC requirements. a broadband/DSL internet connection is highly recommended (if u use 56k dial-up, d update wil take around 7-11 hours)

      Farhan, thanks but i tried that already and the phone says "Packet data,packet data: not available"

          Masud, the phone has the 3-ring 2.5mm jack. You can still use your own 3.5mm headphones, but you'll still need to use the Nokia remote. On the other hand, you can get a very small adapter to the standard 3.5mm jack to use any headphones u want.

              Hi farhan i want to buy this phone soon. But i have some question does this phone contain a 3.5 mm jack. And is it possible to upgrade firmware through a dialup internet connection

                Hi everybody,
                I am using this phone (my first NOKIA phone ever) since last 3-4 months and found it statisfactory - a good phone with basically all features one can think of. However, today while sending SMS I found the following problem.
                (1) Is there any way I can send small picture messages / sound clips/ logos/ emoticons through SMS (not MMS or others)- I could not find any options in the "messaging" menu.
                (2) If it is not possibel then I would say - shame on NOKIA! - as the previous phones I used including SONYERICSSON, SAMSUNG, CHINESE models all used to support small pictures, small sound tones and animated icons through simple SMS. In fact the phones used to have built in emoticons, small sound clips, black & white logo-type pictures etc.

                I think that there should be some way - when other companies are providing - why NOKIA won't do that. Moreover, is there any animated icons or logos built in the phone. If yes, how to inser thoise in SMS ?

                  @ Person Who Asked For Reminder Service:
                  Dear Go to menu--->Organizer--->Calender
                  Then Highlight The Date On Which U have To Set The Reminder Then Select Options And Then Open Then Again Select Options And Select New Entry and There U Can Select The Reminder For Memo , Anniversary, To-do & Meeting.

                    @ How To Watch Videos In Horizontal:
                    Dear When u Open Any Video Then Twist The Lower Part Of The Cell Phone Now The Video Will Run In Horizontal Mode.

                    alternate Method Is That When U play ANy Video Then Pause It And Then Select Options and Then Select Continue In Full Screen.

                              I just got the nokia 5700 and its the best phone I have onwned in a long time.
                              I live in new york and I am using t-mobile service. Is there anyway I can browse web pages on this phone? Please Help! I know the

                                to go to the music player without twisting...just set ur shortcut key to the music player,,,now just press SC key to go to the music pla....

                                      hey guys i have been sweeping the net for days ....and i found out that this phone is the best music phone considering its sound quality....but i have a question ....is it better than 3250 or not.....people keep talking about the superiority of 3250 over 5700...is that right!!!!!
