Question to all..
why not all 5700 users can update for latest @vhal
firmware???
my code is 0531216.. and it still say v3.27...
im its irritating... that my phone sumtyms restart...
sum help plsss...

one of the dealers told me we can't.
please tell me abt it, i want to buy a phone tommo.
Yes u can bcos its a symbian s60v3fp1.. Again its s60v3fp1 and cant install from s60v2 software

Hi Everyone....Im a young kid but i've got a alot of phones this past 2-3 years. First, i started with a nice 3230.....then a nokia N90(love the camera)....then a Nokia N93i which i got on February this year(way big)......and then a smaller phone/my first UN-Nokia phone- the SE W850......I am a bit dissapointed with the D pad though...But the next phone i'm plannin to get is the 5700.....I think it beats all the phones that i've had....its a jack of all trades......not bulky, heavy or bricky......i love that twisty thingy and the loudspeaker produces the best sound of all my phones....it isnt the loudest of course and cannot compete with my N93i's loudness...and i love the music player since it has the visualizations....any comments on the visualizations?????
The design is pretty trendy too.....and it's probably one of the fastest smartphones today (not pda) ....I'm dying to get this phone by the end of this year......It's the perfect music phone!!!!!

Still not many post in that discussion.. Please 5700 user and for nokia user too to type agree in nokia discussion link by farhan.. I have update to latest version but when fight sound with n73, 5700 is not loud although equalizer is set to high

I have update to version 3.83.1 and after succesful restart that phone setting like current but version is successfull changing..

@john: Yes It can Play mp4 videos Even 5700 Records Video In mp4 format.
@ketan:Dear Don't Install Firmwrae AGain Now.
This Problem May Occur WHne U have A Many Songs In ur Memory card . How MAny Times U face This Problem?

Your equalizer settings which you posted almost 3 months back helped a lot to improve audio performance.
I recently treated firmware. All went well for ten days. No restarts especially. Suddenly yesterday my music player went crazy. When i tried to open it, it showed only one message- opening. But it never opened and the list of songs never appeared. I waited for almost 1 hour still the message was displayed. Do i need to reinstall the firmware?

i was sonyEricsson W700i user
then i change my mobile to Nokia 5700
5700 has many advantages like
1-big excellent Display
2-fast
3-1 gb card come with it
but i have problem with the camera
the pic be bad after i catch it
any one know why????????????

Hello! Viperkid, I am very confused between Nokia 5700 and Nokia 6110 Navigator, which one to get as my phone for a long term use. They are both very good phones in terms of features.

my step dad says that this phone was out last year! i want this phone, but his buying me the nokia 7500. does the phone looks like a girl for me to use? im probably going to sell that phone off as i want to buy this NOKIA fifty seven hundred!!
