hi to all.
It's been a week since i bought my 5700 in nokia store galleria. so far, wala namang problema. naka-2gb memory nga ako, ngayon nasa 700+ ung songs ko. ok pa rin ung performance and i still have 840+mb left.
the browser is super-fast and i never had issues with it.
and just want to ask, where do i find good games for 5700? please, i like those that would somehow thrill me. some games can be so boring.
thanks and mabuhay.

          TO Looking & Hoping to

The N5700 in Greenhills in made from China. Also the ones they're selling in Nokia store is also made in China. I believe, it depends if you really got a bad unit and it is just so happens that it is made in China. I also had an N73 China before and never had any problems at all, software and build quality until I gave it as a gift to my niece. Replaced it with N73 Finland, then problems with rebooting and hanging comes in. I do suggest when buying a phone, be meticolous and check all the functions of the phone. It's true that they are practically copying the phone like the one I saw for N95 and W800 which is really very similar to the orig, la nga lang logo ng Nokia or SE. Ingat lang sa pagbili! Peace!

Right now, I place a 2GB on N5700 and still manages to run quite fast with all the appz, games, mp3 and 3gp that I have placed in the memory. Around 900MB left. Ayuz!

I have sold my beloved SE w850i to buy this model of Nokia...because the "joystick pad" of sew850 was painfullly uncomfortable for me.
Now, I am still waiting for the phone to get home.....I am a bit worried about the sound of mp3(quality) and size.Is it really that big? I loved the marvellous keypad of my ex-5300 and the 5700 is supossed to have even better keypad and great screen def. and size, right?
I have bought the black version.
Maximum gb seems to be only 2?

                  ok my question goes to people that owns that products;
regarding the Call records, it is clear that it has 20 missed 20 received and 20 dialled
                  my question is:
if someone calls twice does it show us the time and date of the 2 times or the last one?
                  thxs in advance

Hey N5700 lovers in the Philippines! Got this phone this afternoon and still playing for 'bout 4hrs. now. Traded my 2wks old P990 phone for this one. What I can say 'bout this phone is that its quite fast, probably kicking in the 369Mhz speed of the ARM processor. Sound is very good, though I must admit that SE (e.g. K800) is still better. Loudness doesn't crack at maximum compared to N6233. Installed games like brother in arms 3d and midnight pool 3d and accessing this games compared to N73 is really fast. Price I got from Greenhills is 16.5k pesos with 1yr Nokia Care warranty, NTC certified, 512 memory card included, checked the Nokia Shop for this unit and sells about 18.9k pesos, same packaging. Well, I really never resented that I traded my P990i though I even got only 11k pesos from it, added 5.5k in the process. For the price, it is well justified. I know now that I don't need WLAN, GPS, touchscreen features, and bigger screen and the sense of having an executive phone (kuno). As long as the phone is fast, for music and for games, SMS is not also a problem, unlike N73 before that you need SMS accelerator that you need to download it from Nokia website, I'll hang around with this phone for now. Voice call and video calls are good, though really much dependent on the signal strength and quality and of course if your operator has 3G coverage in the area for you to make video calls. Ayuzzz!

about its' music player, it's at par with se's walkman. you can create and manage playlists and quickly get to a song by scrolling through the list or type in the title/artist/genre. there was no hassle.
i'm using a 2gb microSD and have stored 586 songs in mp3/aac/eaac+. still i have a good 930+ mb of storage left. the songs' sound quality is retained. and the player doesn't lag or hang. much of my songs even have album art.
and again, comparisons will always be there. 5700 may have more or lack some features but it's still the consumer who will decide what to pick. peace!

how is the music player compared with walkman player?
                              can you create playlists?
can you jump to an artist by pressing the appropriate key or you have to scroll?
where can i find a review just for the player and some pics?
how is the sound quality with other s60 players?
                              thx.

                                    kendel:

yup, 5700 can download/receive 40mb file (almost all symbian phones with card slot r capable like my 3250) coz der's an option to use memory card as d storage in rcvng files via bluetooth/infra or thru its browser, meaning u can actually download or receive higher than 40mb like 500mb if u wish (as long as u hav free mem space..)

and yeah, u can blueSnarf (as long as u know wat ur doin..) and of course blueJack like any bluetooth enabled mobilephone can.

can this phone download files as big as 40mb. SE W800i does that. i need to know because i want to upgrade to this phone. and can i browse other phones files without security blocks , i love bluejacking.
