yup, 5700 will certainly hav louder volume on both loudspeakers and when an earphone is plugged in and better quality on loudspeakers and at least b d same on earphone sound output quality (as long as u use quality headsets, coz for d record, only N91's inbox earphone made inbox walkman earbuds quality into dust; not sure with 5700's included earbud though, nwey u can use A4tech MK-620 or other good quality earbuds and rest assured dat u'll hav d same quality than any walkman phone except W950 which of course on a different musicphone level like N91) or even surpass SE's coz of 5700's dedicated audio chip (i hav 3250 without stereo speakers and tested my cousins W810 head to head so i can more or less judge em with 5700 being d successor of 3250..) though W810's camera will hav an edge coz of its autofocus but d rest of its features r not dat good compared with 5700. also, take a look of 5700's great features like symbian OS 9.2, 3G and A2DP support, speaker independent voice recognition, message reader, QVGA video capture and playback, bigger and better quality 16M colour screen with auto backlight compensation, 369mhz CPU and 64mb SDRAM and of course its innovative twisting keypad! =)

This mobile is not as good if we saw this mobile with its features and the price is so much i think now SE can beat Nokia as i say nokia is retired now finished what a bad kind of mobiles nokia is relaesing and the mobiles are so expencive i advise you all to forget this nokia and go for SE because SE has excellent features sound and etc the camera is not to good but in few months SE will release a mobile which will have 5 mega pixel camera or may be better than it and SE mobiles are not much expensive than Nokia which has damn bad features

sugar-obviously u're not giving up yet?....i remember u saying u dun care bout it anymore...but i'm pretty dam sure u bookmark this page to bash this phone again...truth be told.....i do think nokia 5700 is better....in everything.....paper features wise...but design and ur so called "30 hours battery life"...obviously phones have pros and cons.....so if u do think design and battery life says it all....then..so be it....but..seriously.....go to ur bookmark tab...and delete this page from it...u're really annoying me=)

i heard an issue that the memory slot's, charge port's, and usb port's cover isnt that reliable, is that true?? (the one that under the infra red)

ok sugar is getting too irritating..
lets see..
this is the forum for the ppl who love nokia, and most of the ppl here have used 3250..
which I am using as well..
this phone has never hung up..
and my girl friend has the 850i u're boasting about..
compare-
screen: nokia is better..
design: nokia is better(imagine u twist ur 850i)..
sound: nokia is better (connect the same set of headphones to ur 850i and same with the 3250)..
OS: nokia has always been better..
display: 16 million and 256k.. do the maths..
oh ya you were also cribbing about the battery life and the music play time.. with a screen resolution of 256k.. u will obviously get better battery life..
memory card: memory stick duo(damn expensive.. lets say sony's monopoly)..
video quality: QVGA and QCIF..
and look at the number of applications nokia supports: sony-java.. nokia-sis, java..
support: does ur sony allows to update the software??? think about it...
so if u still want to sing songs about 850i then u will only get welcomed in sony's forum..
so sorry to hurt ur sentiments.. but truth is harsh.. if u still believe 850i is better, then cant help it.. keep praising it, there will be many like me who will be opposing it..

Just bought this fone like an hour ago. it is the best fone i ever bought everything about it ROX!!!!!The speakers are so loud its like 2 3250 put 2gether!!!

noo Dude seriously i OWN a Nokia 6233 .and it is doing my head in with Problems..im going to Sell it and go with a decent Phone company which doesnt give problems like Nokia grrrrrrrr UNDERSTAND..mofo's

Andrew, thanks for the quick reply. My daughter has N3250, I tried to install QuickOffice, but it says that it's not compatible. Pls. tell me where I can download a QuickOffice application that will work in N3250. Thanks again.

The Joystick would be one of the weak points of the phone, esp when in the camera mode and trying to change settings.
Apart from that, the phone is awesome. I love the screen, the speakers are good, and the twist is a smart idea. GPS is something i'm going to add to the phone. Only thing that's missing is wi-fi.
Anyone know a good media player which has the fast forward function? The Real Player it comes with doesn't do it.

how is de sound quality n loudness compared to w850i?both headset n without headset...and if w850i is louder is de difference alot or is it just a little?

Yup, it will! I have N3250 with the same OS and installed Quick Office - all works fine!

been using Nokia 6131 - very happy with it, but i want quickoffice to view word docs so am thinking of a Symbian phone. Will QuickOffice be compatible with Nokia 5700?Thanks.
