Ahahaha! SE 30hrs of non stop music... whewwww!! really its great, but do u sleep?? Lol we only have 24hrs in a day, what are you doin all day just listening to your crap music collection' what a useless human being! Nokia's 12hrs is not bad at all, anyone askin fo mo and comparing your SE models go get yourself a HOMETHEATRE SYSTEM really good for playin music and even last for a week or more just dont UNPLUG it! Man i see it you dont need a mobilephone or do you all know that we are here talking about mobilephone?

well... it should... since it still is a full pledged symbian phone... only that it supports V3 applications..

1GB is more than enough for me as I'm not carrying all my music collection with me, I change music every week otherwise songs starts to sicken me!

Its finally available in INDIA........
The price of the phone in a NOKIA Showroom is Rs. 17990/- ..... an awesome phone... was usind SE W550 before this... this phone Rocks... Amazing sound.. Gud display.. wit 16 million Colour screen... over all a Great phone....
GSMARENA can u guys please do a REVIEW on this Phone.....

hi ppl, i read about samsung's 8gb microSD in www.allaboutsymbian.com
there they told 8gb microSD can be used in e65, 5700, e61i, 6300, n76 & 6120. can any1 plz tell me how can it possible..??? bcoz nokia offer only 2gb microSD limit 4 all those models. if 8gb microSD works on 5700 then how can 4gb microSD be used on 5700..??? Plz answer me..-)

If you don't like the phone, then don't! If you find that N5700 is ugly, keep it to yourself! This phone cannot satisfy everybody's lust for phone features! If you don't like symbian phones, then don't! There are other phones which doesn't use any OS at all with simpler menus and fast access to programs and games! If you don't like Nokia phones, there are always other brands! But don't flaunt your phone as if it is the better one than N5700!!!...

dont matter anyway .....y argue everybody has different taste in Phones....im a X nokia man..bcoz they always let me down.so.and i have tested a Symbian (N-GAGE, N70, N73) there still SLOWWW .....gets annoying for me.....so thats NO-kia anymore.....GAME OVER...........

stop fighting about 5700 vs. SE w850,,
i've said it b4,, nokia 5700 has everything you need for a TYPICAL phone,,
sugar,. in your case, if you keep on bringing out the music playing capabilities of W850 against 5700,, i suggest you buy yourself an mp3 player or IPOD instead of a phone... get it?? a PHONE??
other than that, if you insist about 5700 having such useless features,, go get yourself a PERSONAL COMPUTER then and install
all applications you wished your PHONE had...
stop bringing out your frustrations.. this is a 5700 page, go let out your emotions on some other forum. and go get yourself a LAPTOP, not a PHONE! ok

the features are great. im agree that the feature somehow better than any walkman phone. But the design is ugly....how can the voting results in design was 8.2?
btw, talking about joystick, i thon rokr E1 has a very good joystick, rounded and very easy to use...

in every way nokia wins over SE. SE makes good phones. But nokia makes great/greatest phones. look at nokia phones they r very very solid. but SE look very confusing. nokia make a phone & fill it with lots of good features which make the phone great/greatest. SE make a phone & put 2-3 good features which can't make SE phone great. NOKIA is both king & queen of all mobiles.

So now! Who is the better phone? SE phones were benchmarked up to 233MHz only while Nokia phones up to 380MHz. N5700:369-372MHZ but SE's highest @ K790:233MHz.
For now, you really can't compare SE directly with Nokia in terms of hardware per se. I could only say for SE that it has a tad better sound compared to Nokia (considering SE has 72-melody chords while Nokia has 64-melody chords, still not bad for Nokia). Nokia have already employed dual or stereo speakers while SE have not.
In terms of still images, there are very much the same (check all those reviews with K800 vs. N73, etc. in gsmarena.com). Video is really worst in SE coz personally, I have used N6600, N6680, N6233, N70, N73, N80, N9500, N93, T610, K750, W800, K800, P990, and W850 (not counting those monochrome phones).
Now again, who is the better phone???
IMHO, for now, Nokia is still leading in terms of phones features and performance. It is not only Nokia who suffers from bugs, shutdowns, hang-ups but SE phones as well.
Here in the Philippines, Nokia phones are best seller among users coz of its user friendliness, even without the manual or guide, you can still go to the menus without hassle. SE phones somehow needs some practice especially if you are new with SE phones.
I JUST HOPE THAT OPINIONS HERE WOULD BE ABOUT NOKIA 5700, its functionality and such problems encounter during usage.

hay sugar.! wht d hel man..! why u post wrong informations.? i hav w830, which is twin brother of w850 & both r same (only 1 different edge & 3g) w850/w830 can play 27.5h-28h(not 30h) music..when phone switch off. but its a mobile not a mp3 player. so why i play music after switching off my phone..? so stop telling 30h music playing...when the phone is switch on it can play only 19h-21.5h music & n5700 can play 12h when switch on.so about music playing time there is not big different b2in 5700 & w850/w830..
