Mobile Review site article on N85 surely makes me go for N85 rather than N96 because of great battery and better screen. TV receiver is good thing but rarely used plus the price factor and the point that N85 has 8GB card included I guess its better choice in mid range. Also the cam cover is the thing I require very very much and N85 includes it. Mobile review article surely helps a lot and N85 is a really good multimedia power house for mid range. Would surely get it rather than N96 unless I get some really big increment in my salary!!lol!!

Since i d0n't need a tv recver and i think n85 has a great music cApaBilities(hope its par or better on n81 since its a successor) and the display is greater and m0re battery backup. BuT then its up to you bro! ^_^

Now n73 speaker is louder than 5700 but sound quality is better in 5700. N73 has older symbian os and hence slower. But it boasts of better camera. Nokia phones generally do not have the superior sound quality of S. E. walkman series when you use sony ericsson headphones to listen. The final choice will have to be yours but i sure love my 5700 for quality of its music via phone speakers and overall durability.

I jus... moren96 is optimised for live tv broadcast and video playback. n85 is focused on music and gaming. n96 is an update of n95, while n85 is the successor of n81 (www.allaboutsymbian.com confirms that). n96 has 16gb of internal memory on board, while n85 comes with a 8gb microsd card in the retail package. n96 has dvb-h receiver for mobile tv, n85 has fm transmitter for better music experience. n96 has 2.8" screen display & a kickstand for good video playback while n85 has 2.6" amoled display for even better viewing experience that consumes less power. n85 has better battery life than n96 thus longer talktime.

The E51 is not good for musics, and i usage W200 for listem MP3. I want buy this nokia 5700, but i think if the device and construction body and system rotate is very strong for daily usage, and the sound is clear and louder. Generaly the Sony Eric. phones W types is very good for sound. What do you tell me about this 5700? I want a phone that have spearker stereo, like N73 or this 5700. Thanks!

Put the two phones side by side, play same music with same equalizer settings and other audio settings. The winner will be 5700. Am not saying n78 is bad. Its actually superb on many features, but 5700 beats it hands down on music.

i have n78 and its on FP2 platform. Believe me, all the themes for my 5700 work on n78, but not all the apps. If you check my comments on n78 forum, you'll see some of the differences. I cannot use Callman, Mediasafe, File lock. And the interface for photos though very good, but you cannot hide a file. All your pics and video are exposed for the world to see. Am almost regretting buying the phone cos of these issues. Thank God i've not sold off my 5700.
Some very nice and beautiful things in n78 and camera is excellent. Music is poor.
I wonder why a phone should cost so much only to let you down on some features you take for granted.

N5700xm, 25 Aug 2008Tol,is it true that apps for s60v3 fp1,wil n0t be able to i... morei am not 100% sure since i don't have a fp2 phone. but as i see from most theme download sites, there is a separate theme files for fp1 and fp2 phones. and also ngage games are not yet available for n78 which is an fp2 phone, whereas fp1 phones share the same ngage game softwares. so most probably, fp1 softwares (apps, games, themes) won't be installed in fp2 phones. you better head to the n78 forum and confirm it to the peeps there. :)
