Can anyone shed some light....when I play music and skip to the next song or previous song the sound goes off and I can only get it back if I press volume up or down....why's this happening please ?, I have latest firmware

Hi, i'm a iphone user and using it from last one year. It's an amazing phone. But it is restrected in many areas. So now i'm planning to switch over to Nokia 5800XM. Can anyone suggest me to change to Nokia 5800. Is this phone better then iPhone? Please reply ASAP coz i want to buy my new phone very soon.

MAYA, 08 May 2009maybe u should take a look at n86 8mp.it provides more.plus... moreBut the N86 is much more expensive and it's not touch screen right? I've been using touch screen phone for the last 2 yrs that now I feel really awkward using the normal phone. I actually considered N85 as well at the time and had tried playing around with it in the Nokia shop, and I really feel clumsy using it.
As for the W980, I honestly think SE went backward with this cus it lacks wi-fi while the W960 already had wi-fi.

Hey guys I just purchased this cool handset. Have you uys experienced any "hang" particulalry when you click on settings>profiles? Pls answer me. I hope I did not get a factory defect unit. or it is just a software update?

I've had my nam 5800 since early April. I fact, I'm writig this reiew on it. Overall, it's a great phone, but as others have said, the camera is lackluster. I also think the volume level of the speakers could be louder. I also have a Samsung Memoir and it's display is definitely brighter and crisper due to the dark film over the 5800 screen, but the 5800 screen is quite acceptable and does a great job of rendering images. Why Nokia scrimped on the camera is beyond me.... I wish the included image software allowed you to save a zoomed/edited image,too. I do prefer my Memoir for it's solid build and 8mp camera, but the 5800 is full featured, wi-fi, and it's lighter in the pocket. The 5800 and the Memoir both have good battery life considering everything they can be put through in a day. Overall, I think the 5800 is worth every penny. It's a very capable handset.

This a great deal phone. The downside is that most of nokia UI experience lagness like those in N series and of course this one too. But it still worth to buy (Damn! I just can't get the silver and black color combination)

if u want to play"bounce" simply hold the ball with your stick and keep on pushing it forward & hit the screen with the stick to make it jump over blocking objects
& if its *global racing thunder* then use your stick to select your desired car & location & then hold your phone like any car staring and keep on moving in in any direction...

Paul, 08 May 2009I just got my 5800 a few weeks ago to replace my W950i sinc... moremaybe u should take a look at n86 8mp.it provides more.plus,it does have f.m transmitter.which i think will be very usefull when u take a ride with your frens. =) .im looking for a replacement for my old phone too.it will be w980 OR n86.but still have to take the price and the 'laggness' in consideration.
