ijq, 17 Apr 2009Well if you have 200 contacts like me and you want to copy ... moredon't spread rumors like this! have been using this phone for 5 months now! and that thing u said about phone book never happens! just press option and select mark and mark all! and then select the option copy. that's it!
i think you are new to symbian! from further on if u have any problem then weite here, alot of others will help you!
and about the sms centers it does quite well to define it automatically! but this option also should be available by your provider as som sims donot allow auto sync!

Well if you have 200 contacts like me and you want to copy it from please do not buy this phone otherwise to do this manually...
it has so many bugs
1.copy contacts from sim and it will never display caller name unless you add them one by one in phone memory
2.sms issue you need define message centre to send sms otherwise it would not send
these are the 2 major bugs i have discovered after using it for just 2 days.. and i am sure i will find more in future
PIEACE OF ADVICE:Don't forget to put your sim card and test caaler name display issue otherwise get ready for manual contact addition pain like me :(

If u have the oldest , just connect ur 5800 wiz ur pc with ur CD and download directly the newest software ;) ... Any other questions ?!

Omnia 5 megapixel ane 5800 3.2 megapixel carlzeiss but i hate windows mobile which on Omnia and 5800 are more elegant and has bigger screen than Omnia so my 5800 is the best and more cheaper and has more accessories w/ it so Buy it ... Any questions ?!

And u are wrong about the video out , coz the box of 5800 contains the cable of Tv out ... And u can download games(java) on 5800 4m dotsis.com so plz make sure bout ur opinions be4 u post them and thx ;) Any questions !!

5800 is one of nokia's best inventions for normal use & for a price that customers can affort.Its good in every option model & best in entertainment.

hey....since the last couple of weeks whenever i play the video fm gallery it hangs in between..it dsnt play smoothly whereas if i play the same movie fm file manager it works ok....wats the problem how do i solve it

Nokia plans to replace the resistive touch panel currently used in its 5800 handset with a capacitive touch panel in order to compete effectively with rival models from Apple, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, according to sources at Taiwan handset component suppliers.
Nokia's initial orders for capacitive touch panels will be enough for the production of two million 5800 handsets, with shipments of the new version to begin in May-June, indicated the sources, who are familiar with Nokia's roadmap.
Thanks to 5800's product design and adequate pricing strategy, sales of the 5800 have reached three million units so far since the device was launched in November 2008, the sources revealed.
Following the expected availability of the N97 in the second quarter, Nokia is also expected to roll out more models with capacitive touch panels, including ultra-thin and QWERTY versions.

Why doesn't it... morewho cares about silly games get a games machine its only got a small screen and i just use time wasters anyway..its got video out to tele or video or dvd recorder..i-phone is useless in its present state for me,,,for crying out loud sharps gx10 6yrs ago had mms out of the box,,people buy it cause it says apple else if it was any other make with poxy cam no video record no copy/paste straight out of box it would have NO sales and no votes no hits..You bought the i-phone cause it says apple on it else you would have not give it any thoughts to buy it period...

I am not put off by bad comments i am enjoying 5800 .If nobody else has it then i still rate it top notch..I cant give it full marks cause its for future fone maybe..9.5/10..
