docc yes you should down grade but to be fair i would call it a good up grade this phone is well worth the time,effort,and money

It has a very good bass and writing decently on it is just a matter of time before you adapt to it. So to all 5800 haters (xD) LEARN HOW TO USE IT DECENTLY AND THEN REPORT! 8.5 is just to high to be hated ^^ xxx xD

Entering data using the stylus, touch and hand writing sucks in anyway you do it. Its a half baked phone and it was released in the market in a haste as its a unfinished phone. You will regret it if you bought this junk. I bought it and i regret every single penny i paid for this piece of ****....

so, i want to get rid of my luna for this. am i making the right choice?
i'm a heavy texter so would the fact that this phone is touch screen hinder me in any way?
is it easy to use without the stylus?
furthermore, i've heard that if you get it in red, the black areas have a redish hue. is that true?
lastly, i call a lot too, so, how is the battery life and voice quality?
sorry about all the questions but i want to make sure i have all the bases covered before i move on.

this phone is beautiful and CHEAP people here who compares with iphone have to know that iphone 3g cost 599 US dollars and nokia 5800 cost 399

Currently, there are not many third-party applications for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The Symbian S60 5th edition is just too new. Back in the day when S60 3rd edition was first introduced the situation was pretty much the same. We had to wait a good six months before a reasonable amount of application became available.
Now the S60 5th edition is not totally incompatible with the S60 3rd edition apps. It's just that their behavior is rather unpredictable.
