K$, 29 Mar 2009Hey guys i need help,FAST!! Next Friday I will be getting a... moreAll depends on which operating system you are more comfortable using, I personally prefer the 5800. Main reason being is that you can change the memory cards as opposed to having fixed memory. Memory cards are cheap as chips these days, both phones have similiar specifications,The 5800 doesnt have any problems with sending MMS and has a better camera, it does really depend on the carrier too, i'd be goin for the 5800.

can someone explain me how does WiFi works on this device? i mean,i have a wireless conection o n my computer i can i use that internet on my phone witout paying the gprs ? thanks

K$, 29 Mar 2009Hey guys i need help,FAST!! Next Friday I will be getting a... moreI had the iPhone 3G.....it's great. I've been waiting for the Nokia 5800. I have always loved Nokia phone, but this phone doesn't compare to any of the touchscreens phone. I'm disappointed with the UI....hopefully the N97 will be better or they need to do a major update. The iphone UI is hard to beat plus all the features everyone coplain about will be in the 3.0 update the summer. So unless you live and die Nokia the iphone will be the best bet.

Kans, 29 Mar 2009Hi All... have been following the comments, reviews, etc he... moreMenu themes are built for other phone models will work in this phone with beautiful front screen and icons, but couple applications will not function correct because is missing parts of frameworks from the themes which is not built for touchscreens, so if you encounter any of such behavior, than uninstall the specified theme as it is unusable!
I found out all of my themes i was using for nokia N80ie is possible to sign and install on this nokia 5800xm, but couple of them is problem with touchscreen, and is not the phones problem but the software which is not built for this phone!

Hey guys i need help,FAST!! Next Friday I will be getting a new phone.. I am thinking of Nokia 5800 and the Apple Iphone.. Both has the similarity of a touchscreen and music-centered phone... And the problem is - WHICH ONE SHOULD I PICK!!
i mean which 1 feelz better...its not only the specs

Theres one really annoying thing about it, Those edges on the screen when using the touchscreen those edges always get hit with fingers! What was Nokia thinking when they designed that!

Hi All... have been following the comments, reviews, etc here...
i have been having this wonderful device for about 3 months now... As a phone this has been and still is working wonderful. but recently have found some bugs with it... can some one help me fixing (if fixable) them...
1. the contacts bar no longer works :( I have been using some themes downloaded from the internet and now and the shortcut bar always used to be my home screen theme. one fine day, when i wanted to get the contacts bar, it doesnt work. there are 4 grey icons that get displayed and of no use :(
2. the sensor (proximity sensor - near the secondary camera) doenst work :(.
Some one who has got any inputs please respond.

I prefer that you should buy N82 Black othe vise 5800 is also good phone cheeper then other touch phones,
It’s a great phone better then N73.
While those peoples, who play with the Phones,
Like installing and uninstalling of the applications
When they face the problems with there phones they says that,
This phone is blaaaaaa blaaaaaaaaaa.
Mind it that now a days phones which are available in the market
Are same like a computer some bugs errors viruses etc

dear, Try it.
Press and hold GREEN + RED + CAMERA when powering up.
Keep the keys pressed until you get the shaking hands.
That should fully reset the device, with a lock code of 12345.

You can use second camera only for video calls, If u have olde firmware then 20.xxx.
If you have latest firmware then u can use for capturing.

I have nokia 5800 about 6 week and i tell u somthing
the phone is good(music;touchscreen;games;video player;camera is not verry good but is beter or nothing)

its the best phone easy use and full feture.
I like it and you will like it once you star useing it.
No Porblems at all in this phone.

i had this phone for about 2 weeks now. i have no problems regarding the performance of this phone. the camera of this phone however has a lot of noises... maybe because of it's small camera lens which allows less light to enter. the images never over expose even if capturing photos in close-up using the device's flash....
