hey i bought this 5800 a week ago...is there a problem with screen..the lines are slanted, even the text seems going upwards towards the right side..i'm really upset..can anyone help??

Finally i was able to start my PHONE.. b... moreu r welcome man!
and to prevent this from happening remove the buggy softwares that you have installed on it! if the files are corrupted then you won't be able to o it from the organise option inside the phone but you have to do it from ovi's application manager! and after removing them you should restart your phone!
or instead of the above process you can do is press
*#7370# and hard reset the phone! but back your phone up first by ovi! but only backup contacts bookmarks and messages, but donot bqckup installed files because one of the files is corrupted so if u do the backup and install it in your phone again then it will have the same problem!
here is a good site for softwares and themes and they work just fine!

Error, 04 Mar 2009Can anyone advise me if i could watch youtube on 5800 ?yes you can watch fuul featured youtube videos or in that case any other flash videos on it! it has flashlite 3 pre installed!

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2009yup, the screen is flat. i've been using it for a month now... moreto all, download the document viewer and pdf reader from the download folder inside the menu screen of your phone.
And ya i recommend this phone. 2 months still no problem at all, made in Hungary.
And ya the camera sukx in low light but after you upgrade it to latest firmware to v20 it becomes good!

My phone is FROZEN ayt now...
it wont ... morewell before you start your phone take the memory card off, this problem also happened to me and taking off the memory card helped. And after the phone starts u can put the card back again!
This mainly happened because you have installed some untrusted software which was incompatible and hada major bug!

My phone is FROZEN ayt now...
it wont turn on even... it will stuck on NOKIA screen... help...
ive done booting it up.. taking off the battery is the only way to turn it off...
it really stuck on the NOKIA SCREEN and the LIGHT keeps ON.... help

I got the 5800 for a while and I like to get some feedback on the camera. Is it me or does anyone here have poor quality picture taken from the 5800? I found it very poor result on the quality of the pictures. My Nokia 6300 give better hi res quality than the 5800. Hope someone can shed some light here.

I got the phone few days ago, it is pretty ok, only one problem the sound for call incoming doesn't work, you can set up whetever you want but it will be always the same silly bip bip bip, I guess I have a problem with the software.

This totally sucks.
Having read nothing majorly negative about this phone last week, i took out a new contract with this phone and today i read all these negative comments about this phone. Still waiting for my phone to arive and heres hoping i'll have better luck with it.
