All You guys this phone is really an experience....I like it.....One of the Best Phone Currently available in the Market......The Sound Quality is fantastic....No Breakage in the Voice when full volume great experience using the headset....if you are an app lover then this phone requires the Xplorer which would make it lot easier to use.....as marking specific items is not available......any queries abt this phone ask me

Can I use the 5800XM as a portable video player? How many fps (frames per second) does the player support? and one more thing, how does the music quality compare to the Walkman series?
I'm planning on buying it in about 3 days to replace both my portable MP3 player and video player and my phone so that I dont have to carry 3 things in my pocket when I'm goin out...I am currently using a Nokia 6300...

hoser, 25 Feb 2009I purchased this phone a few weeks ago from a online store ... morehoser, nice to hear that you are happy.., as for adobe or office you have a choice in to your nokia "download" application for free try and bay, otherwise find some nokia forum and get the software you are interested about!

I purchased this phone a few weeks ago from a online store in the US, and so far it has been the best phone I have had (when it comes to nokia’s), battery life is very good reception is very good also (I work in a office with really bad reception t-mobile) when most phones only get 1 bar or less this one is from 3 bars down to 1 bar. I have owned a Motorola slider and nokia 6120 classic, and the N72.
Great RF reception
Volume on speakers is loud and clear (when you play MP3’s and take calls on speaker phone)
Battery life is great (can go 2 days without charging)
Web browsing is fast and good
User interface is fast
Case is made of rubber so you don’t have to worry about scratches (6120 classic you have to worry about scratches)
Bad side:
Camera, needs some improvement
Touch screen takes some time getting used to
Lack of software like GPS maps (I use Google maps) or step counter for working out etc.
More games (only comes with 2 games)
Maybe needs to be a bit more thin
No office applications (adobe reader or office document reader) the nokia 6120 has this installed already.
But overall I can live with the problems.

I actually have been using an N95 8gb for some close to 7 months and thought it was the best..I got 5800 2 days and i tell you its the bomb..i just love both phones..loud and so easy to use... I love NOKIA!!

Yeah i got one and the keyboard is really easy to type on. You can gave a normal phone keyboard, full qwerty, mini qwerty and handwriting recognition + you can do it with the screen rotated either way

It has both a QWERTY, normal Alphanumeric and handrwriting recognition methods of input. fucking awesome phone in every way!!!

your phone will automatically turn off music while you have a call and then will turn on music again but if you want to dat manually you should look at icon bar which will show on your phone while you have a call
