purchased the 5800, and have to say im quite impressed. its easy to use and has a really good feel to it.

got mine today i was dissatisfied as touch screen no were as gud as the i phones and just looks really tacky

florin, 09 Feb 2009how can uptade the firmware in romania?i have to wait a lit... more@florin :if your subscription with your operator does'nt include internet go to a coffe-shop/hypermarket/hotel etc where you know that they have free wi-fi internet and from the menu go to sett-phone-phone management-device updates then press options and check 4 updates then update.I've updated today to that 20. stuff.(some icons changes)
You can also update from your pc with the software that came with the phone.
My phone has diplay issues, not lighting up right when unlocking.

i just bought this 5800XM too,
i find that the screen reli roxx...its the biggest!
as for the sound quality... not too bad, just that the camera for a 3.2 mp its sulky...
but for that amount of price, all is worth that much already. i heard that the new firmware will be out...20.0.0.1 or something similar...
btw, my 7th and 8th number of imei is 02... will it be problematic later on? though i have warranty for a year... i dun hope to change this hp for the nxt 5 years...
anyway, all in all, if u'r the new user, do get this phone with that budget range of urs!

i updated my device, it works awesome, but i get system error when ever i press search on the main screen !! :S whts wronge? any idea ?

Hey guys iam the first few to upgrade my fone......the fone has becme much faster.....the dial pad sme buttons have become bigger....the web has become more responsive....the log keys on top have becme bigger...geo tagging has been added....i updated my fone via Ota....u can press.....*#0000# and update frm there....the 20.0.012...is a very good update...even msg typing has becme faster......so go on wat u waiting fr u....

Hello everyone,
I just updated my 5800's firmware to version 20. But now i am facing a major problem. all the built in .dcf audio files are locked and i just switched off the fone and turned it on. The lock code which was default 12345 is not working. Any ideas how to get this cracked? i remember the Nokia care guys telling me about this LOCKING issue but i completely forgot and updated the firmware. somebody tell me what lock code to enter after the firmware update

The update v20.0.012 add to flash application D-pad and looks no option to remove that. So there is no full screen for Touch Piano, Touch Maneuver etc.

Another toy looking phone from Nokia. Should take lessons from Samsung and its new line of touch screen phones. Never wonder why Nokia phones get so cheap only after a few months ???

i need an honest opinion on this 1. Shud i buy it, or shud i stick to my n85? Is it a worthy replacement to my n85? Pleez also suggest ne other fon with gud music and style.... Thnx!
