I got mine today it's firmware is 11.0.0.8, and it's WONDERFUL, it's GPS working so fast without A-GPS support, and it's fast , light, and very reliable , I advice this phone to everyone I know :)

hi i really like the light sabre application on some of my m8s phones E.G. iphone and tmobile g1 is there anyway i can t a version of this app on my nokia 5800

today i got mine. its firmware version is V10.0.010
Now I have checked for any updates via update tool (latest version) but it says no updates available. i have even checked at nokia site by entering the product code and it also said no update for your set. i don't know how to get version 11.

Hi people, i just got this phone sometime last week, its been okay, but i was wondering if there was a way i could get TomTom (SatNav) on the phone like i did on my old phone, which was an XDA Orbit from 02...i know the operating systems are quite different (Nokia 5800, Symbian) (O2 Xda Orbit,Microsofoft) ..so if anyone of you good people could send me a link where i could get it, it would be most appreciated.

Does anyone know how to disable the double touch function in the sub menu does it support ...like we can have all the option opened by single touch like in Iphone

hi, its speakers good , but it dosnt joystick to play game so you can play by screen so it dosnt comform!
but in internet and GPS control is high and good,

Canada is gonna get the 5800Xm this year at the end of Q2/Q3 :D 99$CAD bucks on a 3 year contract woot so happy but i want it now XD i can't wait

Its Very Cool phone And Its realy Good in Nokia In This Time!!!But It Has Poor image quality and Unfortunatelly the legibility of the display under direct sunlight is rather poor and U Cant See Any think!!!:(

stylish, 08 Feb 2009hello every body, i do have N82 black.. it's really good, ... moreAudio quality is awesome but you will be disappointed with the camera, but video is good, still shots suck, since i am not into camera , i like this phone over all. But before you buy just check the top right corner of the phone for any gap "especialy the blue one" i bought blue one and guess what there is gap in the construction of the phone, you can see the gap clearly in the dark with the display on! my friend has red one but no gap "so go for red if possible"

dear kaveh,
u dun hav to refresh the music library. it refresh automatically. its a bit different from the other nokia model where u hav to refresh. hope this will help u out.

Hey to everyone thinking about getting the Nokia5800. Its superb. I am very fussy about phones and functionality and ease of use etc. I have been through about 10 different phones over the last few months including the latest Blackbery Storm and the Iphone 3G to name two. I think the Nokia 5800 is the best of all of them.
And even though the specifications says no email facility, for those that have webmail accounts, it does support it. I have my googlemail set up.
All round, its a great phone.
